Sabres never seemed to fully embrace Kassian since that dirty elbow that got him suspended in the juniors. It doesn't shock me that they wanted to move him, but I didn't see this coming. AT. ALL.

Kassian might be good in the future, but he's achieved absolutely nothing at the NHL level.

Hodgson a tonne of offensive upside and he's only one year older.
