Dammit Raymond, don't fucking do what they want you to you goof.

*Sigh*

Get this team home and someone fucking shoot the guy who writes the schedule. Bullshit roadtrip.

It's such a minute probability that I don't even consider it a possibility. Columbus will have so many balls in the hopper it will make your head spin. My hope is that we don't get fucked and end up with like the 4th pick instead of the second. I recall that one year a few years back though where the worst team ended up with like the 7th pick :lol Statistical anomoly total.

But if the Habs did somehow come up with the first pick, despite our need for a #1 centre, we would have to draft Yakupov. And I'd be alright with that.

From Wikipedia :

A single selection from the lottery pool is made, with the winning team improving its draft position by up to four places, and no team dropping more than one place.

That shit can't happen dude, and our chances are still pretty good (I'd say close to 20% of getting the 1st pick).

I thought he looked good. A couple good hits, good defensive play and a really close scoring chance. He's the underdog right now though, so I'm cheering for him quite a bit, so it should help.

I second everything Tabris said. Feels good.

On a serious note, he had 5 hits (only Bieksa had more with 7) and 1 shot on goal which was a great scoring chance as well, had some good Takeaways as well. Sometimes fumbled a bit with the puck, but I'm saying that was because of the flight and the nervosity. Plus, he's 21. I'm pleasantly surprised with how he played, he seemed to feel really well on the 2nd line with Booth and Kes. I'm excited to see more of him at home. Also, he won 3/2 faceoffs, no idea why he even took those, but it worked lol.

Pahlsson was great as well, played a really solid game defensively, had 3 shots on goal and 2 hits, won 4/8 faceoffs.

Actually the Habs would have a 18.8% chance of picking first this year, and Columbus would have a 25% chance.

It's all in there : http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=525056

Actually, Habs have a chance of 18.8% of "winning the lottery", Columbus has a 25% chance of "winning the lottery", not of "getting 1st pick". Columbus actually has a much higher chance of getting the 1st pick, because only if nr2,3,4 or 5 win the lottery they won't get it.

So the chance Columbus will keep the 1st round pick is actually 48.2%.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH WTF IS THIS SHIT??

A leaf fan apologizing to Nash's family for Nash not being a Leaf. Now I seen it all, I love this shit, its amazing.

I went to the game tonight. I'm glad I didn't pay for the tickets. We missed the first 10 minutes of the game. When we found our seats we saw it was already 2-0 for Florida. Heh.

I hope the Leafs continue losing and Toronto gets the 4th overall pick. And then wins the lottery.

I've never been a tank guy, but I'm going to be angry if the Leafs continue this losing streak and then start to win once they're completely out of it...

I can honestly see it happening.

The playoffs are done. Why should we let the Habs get an amazing prospect instead of us. All of the suffering can be undone if we can just suck our way to 5th last overall and win the lottery.

=(

How would that be any different from the previous 5 years?

In previous seasons of this playoff drought, were the Leafs ever in a playoff spot for most of the year like they were this year?

What in the fuck...it's not even Christmas anymore. :lol

4 points out of 8th and leaf fans want to tank. Pretty pathetic, I got on the tank train when our chances for playoffs were like 10% and our leading goal scorer for the last two years had a season ending injury.

Sounds like Classic Leafs to me. Just another chapter in the annual drive for 9th.

There is no annual drive to 9th. I see lots of you love to "hilariously" misrepresent the Leafs team as a "drive for 9th" NHL squad. Just stop it people.

2010/2011 - 10th overall in East
2009/2010 - 15th overall in East
2008/2009 - 12th overall in East
2007/2008 - 12th overall in East
2006/2007 - 9th overall in East
2005/2006 - 9th overall in East

And before that they routinely made the playoffs every single year.

So why is it that because of two years at the beginning of the lockout that people love to throw around "Drive for 9th" with regards to the Leafs? The Leafs are horrible. Burke is delivering almost no results. Wilson is a horrible coach. The entire squad is gutless. The teams have been awful and unacceptable year in and year out. Throw that around instead. Stop fucking saying Drive for 9th.

Just spent 2 hours going through past NHL threads, soooo gooood.

Dude...why? There are so many other things you could do with 2 hours.

Looks like someones feelings are hurt.

Red_Man, I only want them to lose if they continue playing like they have for the last 10 games. Outside of the San Jose game (IIRR), they've been BRUTAL. Honestly, it hasn't even been close.

Another difference between this year and the past is that the Leafs have their pick lul

I am still happy with Burke as the GM despite everything...
