I'm going to start collecting names for people that want to participate. I'll do it like last year: I won't assume you're in unless you tell me. It should be considered a consensus pick - team members should collaborate to choose someone instead of one just blurting out their pick. My daughter is impatient and owns my iPad, so i'm going to be less patient in waiting; say, four hours selection time per team. You don't make the time, you get skipped.

Raiders fans - You don't have to.

In.

Should we do trades? Since it's pretty certain that the Rams are moving out of the two spot?

No. Because we don't have anything to trade and it gets messy. Rams age should just try to determine who gets drafted with the Rams pick. Also, let's keep the regulars to their teams for now. We'll fill it out once the main ones are complete.

Not of this magnitude, but Jimmy Johnson called out Buddy Ryan for putting X dollars on a players head.

After the Niners game the Giants flat out said they wanted to take out Kyle Williams, pointed at his concussion history, not a single fuck was given. Giants didn't need extra financial motivation though, lol.

well, they didn't actually say they wanted to do anything illegal though. it was implied in the shitty nymag article that the comments meant that they were targeting his head, but that's not really what happened/what was meant.

"Our investigation began in early 2010 when allegations were first made that Saints players had targeted opposing players, including Kurt Warner of the Cardinals and Brett Favre of the Vikings,"

Fucking knew it!

God damn I hate the Saints.

After the game, reporters crowded around the locker of Jacquian Williams, who'd forced the second fumble, hoping for an angle: Had the Giants noticed something about Kyle Williams's technique, some weakness in the 49ers punt-return scheme? "Nah," Williams said. "The thing is, we knew he had four concussions, so that was our biggest thing, was to take him outta the game."

LOL

His words not mine. You can legally take someone out, doesn't always have to be a cheapshot.

What's the big deal with bounties? I don't see what's wrong with it. It's not like they're going to stab these people, they're going to hit them, football style, while playing football. It's like getting a bonus for being the top seller in a sales job.

Not cheating, just awesome.

I don't see why it's a big deal either. In fact, I'm surprised it's not the norm in a game like football.

It probably is the norm. It's just other teams are better at hiding their shit. And Goodell would look like a hypocritical fool if he continues to crack down so heavily on reckless hits to the head and then overlook people getting paid to intentionally hurt others.

I bet this bounty business is a lot more common than we think.

I'm sure it is, to what degree is probably the question. In any event, the Saints are screwed because the league is getting hammered with these lawsuits by former players and now the NFL has to look like it really does care about player safety. So like LJ said, they'll make an example out of them. They'll be the new James Harrison.

How many people did they actually hurt?

If you compare them to the Steelers flags/suspensions I'm sure they pale in comparison. I'm assuming LeBeau is offering some a few of Pennsylvania's finest women and cash. By Pennsylvania's finest women I mean overweight, drunk and have large adams apple.

And by offering you mean threatening with.

Do any football fans even care about this saints thing? Lol
Interested to see how harsh the punishment is if anything. Also curious to see what the Rams do with Williams...

Aside from that, it should provide some good news fodder for a a week or before free agency begins.:) There isn't much else to talk about football related anyway. All we need now is another Ben rape allegation and some more pics of Brady girly-dancing at some sporting event and we got ourselves an offseason thread!
