Yep! As nonsensical as the plot got in R2, it never forgot why we were attracted to CG: Lelouch. In a sense, it was very much a character-driven story, and CG emphasized that well.It did?

The weakest link in Hanasaku Iroha was obviously Mel Kishida and his horrible chinless, noseless profiles:
I think the lesson is that Okada-bot is to blame for Fractale. What's interesting is how different Aquarion Evol and Black Rock Shooter have been experience-wise. The last 3 episodes of Evol have had screenplays done by people other than Okada and they were way more entertaining than what the earlier episodes had done while BRS is suffering from an unrestrained Okada script since its introduction episode.

Oh I've seen that from the link you dropped in here from a while back. It's actually one of the reasons I decided to give the show a shot.
It turned out well?
It made tons of money and mass audience loved it as seen from MAL score for example. I would say it turned out well.
Guilty Crown is making tons of money and has a relatively high score on MAL.
Rinne no Lagrange 9

I think it was my favorite of the non mech orientated episodes. Only weak part was once the backstroy kicked in but otherwise pretty fun and funny. Array is probably my favorite character of the anime and Izo and Kirius and him are vastly more interesting than Madoka, Lan, Megunami.
Hopefully they end up not going after to try to destroy the vox's but siding with them. Confused on the overall plot and factions though, is it two separate entities want the Vox's as well as Earth? Dont really want Array and co to be antagonists
I should go back and watch some Armored Trooper Votoms next.

I don't know if copy the old tricks over and over again is good directing
While I wont claim to be familiar with his entire body of work I haven't seen any shows that would justify your claim that he is 'an awful director'. Perhaps you could explain how, exactly, he is awful at directing?
I still need to get around to watching Fractale, but from what I've heard of it, it was a clusterfuck from top to bottom. Sohei Kano's compositions tell a much different story in large contrast to the writing, which is the real oddity about that project.I think the lesson is that Okada-bot is to blame for Fractale.
In that instance, it's the source material that held Okada back from diverging farther personally. This is the part where I once again express relief that Okada was present in name only for Toradora, right?
That isn't really indicative of anything besides popularity though. Take look at Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon and tell me how that show turned out well, what made it so appealing, when did it hit its stride, etc. Same thing could be asked of Persona 4. The actual quality of the work and how well it was executed is debatable from its actual sales and isn't reflected by those numbers. It made tons of money and mass audience loved it as seen from MAL score for example. I would say it turned out well.
Soul Eater 36-44
I will say that Black Star has been growing on me little by little, even if I do find him extremely annoying
The wii part was pretty awesome

Chihayafuru 3-5
Man, I'm really into this. I really like the style, the characters are immensely likeable, and the soundtrack is masterful.

And there are great moments every four scenes, haha.
The two pics taken together would make an ideal ending.

So you're going to spoil yourself on the ending when it ends? That's a disaster waiting to happen man.As much as I love Chihayafuru, I still can't bring myself to watch past episode 15 because I'm too afraid of getting a non-ending orending.Arata
What's stopping you?I really feel like I'm missing out on not watching Lagrange. :/
