Bless you BLESS YOU!!

MERRY KEYNOTE TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT

But read what TNW said about possible haptics tomorrow first . . .

http://thenextweb.com/apple/2012/03...he-ipad-3-is-a-new-touch-feedback-technology/

Nobody was mentioning this haptic stuff a week ago, now suddenly it's supposed to be the super secret feature? I'd suggest not getting your hopes up. It seems really far fetched to me. The retina display will already cut their margins significantly if they want to retain the current price points, I just can't see them adding this kind of tech right now. Maybe next year. That article was just bullshit speculation (my 'Apple sources?' Nobody has Apple sources. Especially not a no-name blogger.) Nobody should be convinced by it. This is insane speculation and hype that happens before any Apple event, predicting implausible what if scenarios.

Jumping on the haptic bandwagon seems like a sure fire way to be a teensy bit disappointed.

Also, that $100 Apple TV with 1080p sounds delicious.

The last minute haptic feedback rumor sounds like the perfectly timed cocktease let-down for fans to get all disappointed about it.

I rate "haptic feedback" 1% probability of being announced and 99% probability of bumming me out.

I'm probably the only person who just couldn't care less about the iPad announcement and is completely excited about the new AppleTV. I'll buy one the second it gets jailbroken. It'll solve all my key issues with the current one.

Issues plural? Sounds like the only stated feature is going to be a resolution bump.

It'll be nominally faster on account of the processor, but I wouldn't even bank on that given how laggy the UI has always been.

I know tomorrow is going to rock, all I really wanted was retina and 1gig of ram (to make browsing multiple webpages better, with little to no reloading). Everything else is gravy.

This, so this. I cannot wait for the reveal, the media that will likely be available on apple.com shortly after, and of course getting one in my hands in less than two weeks (hopefully).

Super excited for the Apple TV too. This will mean I can move my current ATV to a different room and have more AirPlay flexibility.

I'm mixed on all of the iPad stuff. New pimp screen = OMFG AWESOME. I'm worried about the A5+ or whatever they are calling it though aka A5 roided up. Going to take a lot of power to push a screen with that resolution. Plus all the news makes it sound like the A6 is coming, but just being held for the next iPhone (seems like semi overkill for the phone at the phone's resolution). Makes me think the iPad 4 will be like the iPad 2 aka the better running version with the same screen hardware as their predecessors aka the iPad 3 and iPad 1.

Maybe the RAM bump + the improved GPU specs will handle it all perfectly fine though.

How hilarious would it be if the screen was the same resolution? There's been a lot of hints for the higher resolution, but no smoking gun as far as evidence is concerned.

Seems pretty conclusive to me.

1080p and a processor bump will go along way with running XBMC.

I can't see how people think this'll be haptic. That demo in the video was was cool, but the guy doing the demo even said he though it was a year to twenty-four months away from market. And we don't have a clue what a screen like that means for battery life, do we? We all know by now that Apple will not compromise on battery life.

If they weren't focussed on the battery, we'd have LTE iPhones on the market already. Now we're supposed to believe iPad 3 will have a retina display, LTE, and a screen constantly generating a static charge strong enough to feel?

Nah. I'm not holding my breath.

I am interested in an Apple TV. Currently use my PS3 and DLNA to stream movies and such from my computer. Will the Apple TV be able to do that and more?

I was bored, so I made some wallpapers. Nothing special just some ultra hi-res pictures of space I found:

No idea why the second one is 10 times bigger than the first.

I don't have class tomorrow and will be able to witness the glory live.

This is clearly a sign of great things to come.

Wouldn't it make more sense if it said "...and FEEL"?
That would be too obvious.

I don't expect it, but I wouldn't be surprised by it either cause they seem to be hinting at something with the invite.
Seven inch ipod touch tomorrow, new ipad on the 16th.

How awesone would that be?
Depends how many inches away I'd have to hold it away from my face for it to be a "retina" display. (I probably wouldn't buy one considering I'm buying enough expensive crap already this year and wouldn't have much use for it...unless it had a pen digitizer).
