This is how it went:
Bunch of people call game racist.
Bunch of people say, "If it was called WHITE college football, etc."
People say, "Why can they have all-black colleges? If they had all-white etc"
Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have their names dropped somewhere in there.
People make a futile effort to educate the ignorant masses about HBCU's.
(Now, I didn't actually read the thread, but 90% I'm sure that's what happened)

San Andreas was such a funny case. It was just racist internet nerds raging. The same people who suddenly made a big deal with Idris Elba in Thor.
In real life however, EVERYONE was so hyped for it. All the white geeks, cool kids, skaters, stoners, black people, Asian, adults, everyone. That's what suprised me most when I saw that thread for the first time last year. Especially when reading comments on how it won't sell.

Funny and sad that you are probably right.
The problem with gun control debate on Gaf, is the ones that scream the loudest think that you can pass a law in the USA that says "Ban guns". And everybody will turn in theirs or the guns will magically evaporate. The ones that come with commonsense will get shouted down as "crazy cowboy bang-bang americans".
That line fucking cracked me up, it just came out of nowhere.
Jokes on them though, SA was far and away the best GTA and no small part of that was the characters and story.

this reminds me of this documentary I saw on here about blacks vs other minorities in terms of intelligence and grades. There was even some racist pseudo scientist saying that blacks were just genetically inferior in this regard and this was to the interviewer who was black himself. In the end it all boiled down to cultural and socio-economic differences. Confucianism played a large role in many East Asian cultures which stands to this day.
