So is there a voice chat channel on mumble or something that is used by DOTA 2 GAF? Looking to start playing with some Gaffers now that I'm starting to get something of a handle on this game.

Just get tomat in mumble and have him say yo a bunch.

I had like 2 people think I was you this week. I dont sound like you, not that there is anything wrong with your sexy voice.

Soon as I get home and finish eating my wings, you guys better be ready to play. SANJAY/METEOR/WES?

Hey guys, I'm still learning the ropes, so I'm struggling with items, I don't really know what keys to bind them to; the default keypad bindings seem pretty uncomfortable, how do you use them?

He's an awesome player, but he keeps stating the obvious

I dunno, he strikes a nice balance of insight, being pleasant to listen to and he obviously finds the game fun to watch/comment/play.

On the other side of the spectrum is Puppeh, who is definately as insightful as Fear is, but the negativity oozes out of every comment he makes. Where Fear calls out good plays, Puppeh focuses solely on the bad plays.

Probably the billionth time this has been asked but I recently got into the beta and now I'm totally looking for some good tutorial videos that aren't all

"WITH CHARACTER X YOU CAN DO MASsIVE DAMAGE TO CHARACTER Y" but goes more in-depth and explains different terms and whatnot. It feels kind of threatening to jump into this. Especially since the last similar game I played was SC2 and then I got stomped in the practice league ):

Edit: Written guides are fine too, charts as well. I assume the game is very rock/paper/scissors'y but on a much grander scale.

Check out his gameplay commentaries once you get the basics down.

This EG game is great, farmed Slardar, Refresher Orb Tidehunter :D

Yup, great action. Tobi working like a beast, he's been casting since 8:30 am and it's about midnight over there if I'm correct. Now he gets a couple of hours off before another tournament continues.

Oh my god rofl. Had this Furion on the enemy team who was going to teleport back to base, and he said cya thinking he was safe, and I hooked him ^^

This is the best inhouse, failed Rosh attempt and they got Radiant picks up the Genocide :lol.

Played my first 2 games with Sand King and received my first 2 losses in quite a few matches.

Pitiful first game.
The second was killed early by a disconnection from our side 10 minutes in, followed by other 2 disconnecting but it was already going very badly even if I felt a little bit more comfortable with the hero.
Oh well, I'll keep on trying.

Shoutouts to the new players who played on my team in the past few inhouses tonight. Nice try everyone, you guys did good for newer players, especially against more experienced guys. One thing to keep in mind is when we're defending our t3 towers, fight INSIDE the base. It's to our advantage to fight there. Don't bring the fight outside when we have Dark Seer!

In-houses are way more fun when teams go for a tactic in mind, heal team push instead of your typical laning phase and one before going for global skills, speaking of which what other global heroes are there other then:-

Invoker, Zeus, NP, Spectre any more that have not been made into Dota 2 yet?

Ones that do damage that is of course.

I loved the Heal Strat, that worked out so well. It was like 25 minutes in until anyone even died on our team. Also had a great game as Zeus.

Chen is left out in the cold? For shame!

I can fight you for the title by executing some of the most embarassing epicenters you will ever witness.
Maybe someday someone other than me will die because of one of them, but until then I claim my rightful crown.

Did you know that if you double tap blink dagger, you blink backwards?? I do now!!
