Totally just figured out bioware's huge plot!
Breaks down like this:
>Canon ending for ME3 is the synthesis one
>Joker and crew, all now synthesized, land on jungle planet
>Start rebuilding, synthesized gives way to new powers
>After many years, able to rebuild to a medieval-esk era
>Synthesis powers are claimed to be magic
>Dragon Age is the sequel to Mass Effect 3
Bam! Send me a note discussing payment bioware. Or maybe not.
I agree. His character serves absolutely no purpose that Thane couldn't have served better. He exists only to be the unbeatable guy from the Thessia mission.

What they cut, and what I thought was a very important part for the development of Kai Leng as a character and enemy was the scene where you saw him shred on his guitar when noone was around. It both characterized how badass and awesome Kai was while showing off his creative artistic side.

He is literally the 'awesome button' from that Dragon Age 2 video. Hell, they could've even had Thane's Son instead. Working for Illusive Man because Cerberus are the only people willing to cure his father.
Shredding his guitar with biotics while combing his luscious mane.
You can't be serious.
I'm perfectly capable of being serious.
I noticed during the snowy space moon fan art scene you can hear wolves, owls, and crickets. So Earth 2?
Why would it need to be Earth 2? Earth doesn't get destroyed in any of the endings, does it? I guess it can't be Earth though, considering the scenery.
Hell, I'm still trying to figure out why Shepard is in prison/detained at the beginning of Mass Effect 3. I take down a reaper and destroy a collector base for you fuckers, and I get detained? What?
In Arrival you blew up a mass relay and it wiped out a bunch of Batarian colonies.
I was really disappointing the game didnt start with Shepard on trial for his war crimes, and the shit hitting the fan during said trial.Dammit Bioware. Explain that in the opening got'damn cinematic if you don't detect that DLC pack on my system.

So, that leaked script from a few months back. Any deviations from the final game?
So, just thought everyone in this thread might be interested that one of the Bioware writers who posts on another board that I frequent said that there were only two writers on the ending and that the rest of the writing team didn't vet it before it was implemented.
It actually makes sense given the way the ending goes.

The funny thing is they do mention it when you import a save that finished Arrival, but they say nothing if you haven't. Same with Shadow Broker. I imported a save without it, and Liara said she was an "information broker."
Come to think of it the fact that everyone is so mad should really be taken as a compliment to Bioware. People must love the series very much to react so vocally to its ending.
Im so going to laugh if Bioware really comes out and tells us the ending was simply Shepard hallucinating while on pain killers or whatever. I will buy all DLC for the game Bioware releases, because goddamn do i love a good troll like that.
I just beat this and I'm trying to make sense of these 3 endings. So if you choose to destroy synthetics, how does Shepard still survive?

Emergency Induction Port
You know, saying the ending is all a dream and calling into question the ending sequence's reliability actually gives this a lot of depth and makes it intriguing in an Inception sort of way.
Emergency Induction Port
The ending also makes a hell of a lot more sense if you get the scene where you talk to Liara about her Data Box that made in case the Reapers win.
Anyone else have a dirty idea during that? .. she was drunk too... Shepherd could have pulled it off.
It really doesn't though, because they refer to her/him as "The Shepard" as if she's been passed down through verbal lore.

Buzz Aldrin states that it's been a long time. My best guess is that it's like a gigantic galaxy-wide game of telephone. That's how legends and myths begin.
date raping aliens
Shepard, truly the Space Jesus
hmm ok...
I'm curious to know the reasoning of those that picked the option 'destroy synethics option' knowing that the cycle will continue.
and also, what's the consensus on what the best option was?

Who refers to anyone, anywhere, as "my sweet"? He sounds like a diddler.

I guess. I really just dislike open ended conclusions to video games. They aren't master craftsmen who are imparting some Earth shattering artistic vision unto us, the likes of which we're going to carry with us the rest of our lives. Their job was to provide an ending that made at least a little bit of sense, and they failed.
Finally beat it so I can migrate to this thread now. When I saw Shep take that breath at the end:

What determines who exits the Normandy on the island?
Whoa, whoa, whoa. There's an ending where Shepard lives?
hmm ok...

what do you imagine the different colors of space magic taste like? I think red is cherry and green is mint.
blue might be anti-freeze or something.
