What's wrong with Canadian beer?
Nothing but I would expect much better topics of conversations with all that is going on during the game.
What skills can you get from Ashley?

She tricked Shep into having a kid? That banshee!Maybe she got preggers that last time they mind melded.
It's probably because BioWare didn't invest much time to the full development of these characters. We didn't really learn anything new from anyone who can join your party. Except maybe Javic, but even then I wanted more. Also didn't like how he's supposed to be an instructor at Grissom Academy and doesn't even talk about what happened there after the Cerberus attack. Man, his conversations are boring. He only talk about canadian beer, his dad and mother and how you are so mean because you worked with Cerberus.
At least he's pretty good in battle because of Reave (which you can learn form him) and Overload.
What skills can you get from Ashley?
Fuck, I forgot about that. Now I'm sad. :/
For being the Shadow Broker, she's kinda dense then. The picture: You're not in it Liara.
Funny you mention that. I have played some shit games, some shit endings, and some good games with bad endings(some of which people have mentioned here in this thread).
I still didn't understand why I was so effected by this. But man...I hear you. Something about the 6 years of real life that has passed since 1, the choices mattering from 1-2, the characters, the world and all the thought, to and ending that appears to have been written in a translated fortune cookie written by a person who doesn't understand the language they wrote the fortune in.
3 games, 6 years all served up into one massive pile of failfuck in one fell swoop is awe inspiring. Heroic fantasy...damn.
Oh, yeah. Hate how you can't learn Reave if Kaidan is dead. Fuck him.
I got super choked up with the Shepard and Garrus dialogue about meeting each other at the bar in Heaven near the start of the final push.
"There is no Shepard without Vakarian." One of the best fucking lines from the game.
What determines who comes out of the Normandy?
Hate to correct you but it hasn't even been five years.
She only makes a brief appearance in the second if you didn't get the DLC.Well, she's the only squadmate from 1 and 2 who can't die at all.
Can she actually be picked outside of The Shadow Broker?
Marksman and Incendiary Grenade.
She only makes a brief appearance in the second if you didn't get the DLC.
I was actually thinking about this. Is the only reason Liara was not a playable character in ME2, because she could die in that game? I mean she didn't play a huge part in ME3, but I found it a bit odd.
Can she actually be picked outside of The Shadow Broker?
I've come to the conclusion that I'd be 'satisfied' with the ending(s) (not happy, but not unhappy either) if the mass relays weren't destroyed.
That way, the galactic community is still somewhat intact, and then there's rescue hope for the remaining crew of the Normandy.
.
Two scenes out of the whole game, but again, they don't show much about who he is as a person.I thought Kaidan was a lot more interesting in this game than the other ones. There were two scenes in particular that were really well-done if you romanced him as male Shep. I don't know if they were different if you were female Shep and had previously had a relationship with him.
The dinner scene and the London scene, to be precise.
That's what I thought.Nope. I'm pretty sure someone at BioWare commented that she's pretty fundamental to the story of all 3 games, so they chose to keep her in (/un-killable).
I see. I'm a bit of Liara fanboy, but one with no romantic inclinations. No, Bioware explicitly said that the reason LIs from ME1 weren't squadmates in ME2 was because they could die in the suicide mission and then you wouldn't get your reunion in ME3.
It's fairly obvious that the writers are huge Liara fanboys/girls.
If you romanced her in ME1, that scene is a tad more... kissy.
Bioware dun goofed up badSo, all this hubbub and I hadn't actually seen the main thread over in the Bioware Official forums...

Yeah, I was all "I visit you a hundred times on the Citadel and all I get is "Hello Shepard", but now that we're about to die, you kiss me? Bitch."
Wasn't there a similar notice in the previous games?Ya the petition is crazy.
I do notice that when you win the game that the notice says, "Continue to build on the legend with DLC and further gameplay" Hmmm...Maybe some kind of cheap hope is still out there.
I wonder how far away the crashed Normandy is from Earth. Maybe the DLC is "Find your Friends"
Diana Allers? How do you make Jessica Chobot look bad?
Wasn't there a similar notice in the previous games?
Most Salarians seem to be awesome. Mordin, that guy, Kirahe (spelling might be wrong).
Agreed, the relays destroying no matter what was the final blow.
I can't help but think they wanted to be bold, but failed horribly. And of course, some last minute changes and mishaps.
HahahahahaDLC coming Q2 2012: "The Receptacle"
"With the Reapers in control of Earth and Cerberus in their pocket, can Commander Shepard and the crew of the Normandy recover the long lost Prothean Receptacle? Only with the use of the Receptacle can the mystery of the Crucible and the Catalyst be unlocked"
"Coming to an online marketplace near you for five hundred and ninety nine US dollars"
I just understood it to be any fetch quests of missions people didn't do, plus any new DLC that includes new missions and fetch quests. If you are talking about what I posted. Yes. And there were sequels and DLC to make that statement trueLike I said foolish hope.
The Shep-Garrus bromance is so good.

In new ending, your choices are still worth less than shit. That'll be $9.99.I would blindly accept some kind of DLC re-write, I really want the current 'ending' to go away. It's just sitting there, taunting me. MAKE IT STOP.

I don't know. If they couldn't fit a proper ending into it, adding some DLC will be like a band-aid on a dead person . . .I would blindly accept some kind of DLC re-write, I really want the current 'ending' to go away. It's just sitting there, taunting me. MAKE IT STOP.
The only good thing about the ending:
The Clint Mansell track followed by the Faunts one
Is it important to go full paragon in ME3?
An after story of what the galaxy is like after his death and how your choices affected it?I don't know. If they couldn't fit a proper ending into it, adding some DLC will be like a band-aid on a dead person . . .
Shep is dead, let him rest in peace.
I think I would accept an epilogue. That's all.
Edit: However, it wouldn't be the first game to have a DLC ending. Eugh.

I temporary forgot he lives.. nothing kills space JesusWell and in my game he wasn't dead. I mean they could have had him breathing for no reason but Shepard in my game was still doing what he does best....survive.
