Hasn't it been rumoured that Dwight won't sign an extension with anyone now? I think it was during the all star game that rumours of Dwight and Nelson coming to the Lakers were squashed because he would no longer garauntee he would be more than a rental.
The theory at the time was that this was out of spite to the Magic for not caving to his demands earlier.

Plus even as a Cats fan I have to admit watching Wall and Howard play on the same team would be FUN. Chances are though the Wizards would win enough at the end of the season to take them out of the running for Davis, so it would be win-win for the Bobcats. The Magic are taken out of competition for a few seasons, and Dwight may or may not sign an extension with the WWs.
I think at this point it's worse than the announcement. Lebron didn't give concrete plans to what he was going to do but if your payed any attention at all, (management not even having talked to him) it was clear what was going to happen.
