by paying a harvard graduate millions of dollars after a few games and then making mario williams the highest paid defender in the league coming off 2 consecutive seasons of injuries

cmon son

It's squicken... C'mon man. Texans could win the Super Bowl and he'd find multiple negative things to say about them.

Glad they resigned foster, though I think they overpaid. Crazy to see Winston released, surprised he said they didn't want to insult him by asking him to restructure his contract. Why the hell not, they've asked multiple other players to restructure.

I still don't think they beat the Pack that game, although possible. And they probably would have made the playoffs last year but wouldn't have advanced through the playoffs with Jason freaking Campbell.

They spent 15% of their remaining cap space on an insurance policy. With holes all over the place. Not a back-breaker by any stretch, but I disagree with the insistence on spending for a backup QB because if Cutler goes down again, there's no Super Bowl. Still.

It can prove itself worthy, say keeping the team afloat for an injury to Cutler mid-season. But with all the other holes on this team it hurts to see that much money go to someone who could easily not play a single snap.

The Bears were very close to beating the pack with CALEB HANIE in for almost 2 quarters. Did you see him play last year? He was literally the worst QB to touch the field in the NFL.

Bucs off to a good starty in FA. They got the vertical threat they wanted in Vince Jackson and they got G Carl Nicks to come in for a visit.

Saints FA G Carl Nicks is in Tampa. Arrived here late Tuesday night, according to his agent. A deal may be forthcoming in the next 24 hours.

Looks like Bucs DT Gerald McCoy is doing some recruiting, trying to lure Falcons LB Curtis Lofton to Tampa

I love this new plan.

bears are desperate for him is why. bears wasted their money on a bunch of worthless players. they should have gone after peypey so he could lead them to some playoff success

Anyone post this?

http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/...others_1-year_deals/srvc=home&position=recent

The Steelers offered Wallace a one-year contract worth $2.742 million, and they have the right to match any deal that another team dangles in front of the two-time, 1,000-yard receiver. If Wallace signs elsewhere, the Steelers receive that team’s first-round pick as compensation.

The Steelers are believed to have offered one-year, $1.26 million deals to cornerback Keenan Lewis, guards Ramon Foster and Doug Legursky, safety Ryan Mundy and tight end David Johnson.

Hahahaha

That's what it takes I guess. Had my bball league this evening, came home and hear he's leaving, get out of the shower and read this shit.

Got crucified on my regular Bills forums for speaking out against the 90m+ deal, won't be able to resign our own, too funny.

It's a business they need to put butts in the seats now, so have fun filling up the stadium next season.

NFL is putting up some NBA contract numbers if that Williams deal is true.

110mill for mario?

i ain't even mad get ya money son...it's like the league didn't learn from the haynesworth contract...he's about to get even more lazy

Not seeing this on any Bills forums, dudes would be all over it by now.

Whatever, I'm just going to go put my feet up, when it's done it's done.

Star receiver Vincent Jackson, formerly of the San Diego Chargers, has agreed to terms with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per several sources. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the deal is for $55.55 million over five years, with $26 million guaranteed, and $26 million overall in the first two years. Actually, according to Pro Football Talk, the contract number comes to $55,555,555 ... which would, of course, comprise Ocho Cincos.

Does he really work for Bills News? The writing style he has is horrible, or maybe it's because he is trying to be the first to report.

Okay, so, I rescind my excitement. No single player is worth 110 million. Jesus christ. If that's true, that's one hell of a pendulum swing from "doing fuck all" to "turning into the Redskins overnight."
