"He LeBron, look at me! I can dance and look like an idiot too!"

Yeah so the Pau trade is off the table right? Lol fucking knew the Bulls would "talk" but ultimately do nothing, as usual. Sometimes I hate our conservative management. But then again, I am glad we never ended up trading Deng.

Of defensive PG's?

Rondo.
Westbrook. Mainly because of his sheer athleticism.

Honourable Mentions to Conley, TP, Rubio. Conley and TP are more about the system, than their own Great D. And Rubio was still finding his feet.

Its a really short list. It's just not a position that matters a whole heap defensively, and the PG's know it.

Yeah, I can see the case for Westbrook. I wouldn't put him in the top 2 or anything, but hes definitely solid.

Can't believe you won't include Hill though. When hes healthy hes hands down the best. He can guard 2s and 3s well too.

TP is great at certain things, and bad in others. Hes come a long way from the days when he was a liability. He is wonderful at covering screen-roll, and has great footspeed but can be taken advantage of by the bigger guards, and doesn't have the length to go for steals.

Jrue Holiday is a good defender.

There's a lot of guys like jrue that you can put into the not horrible, not great category.

Deron, CP3, Chalmers, Lawson, Dre, Jack, Lowry, Dragic, Bledsoe.

They're not net defensive negatives, but aren't adding anything either. And most atleast try to play Some D.

Then you have a Category like Nash, where they try, but they just aren't athletically gifted enough to keep up.

Because i was listing PG's, not guys who can guard PG's. George Hill is a SG. Combo guard at best.

TP and Conley benefit by having Bigs behind them who know how to defend really well.

Just going over the money that some of these Vets are making is just insane...I know the Amnestied ones aren't getting it all this year.

Lewis - $22,152,000
Duncan - $21,300,000
Garnett - $21,200.00
Gunbert - $19,269,308
Melo - $18,520,000
Amare - $18,217,705
Joe J - $18,038,573
Brand - $17,059,726
Baron - $15,302,181
Jamison - $15,076,715
Billups - $14,200,000
Kaman - $14,030,000
Jefferson - $14,000,000

Geez every one of those is painful except for Duncan and Garnett just because of the past. but this year that's painful too

Duncan and garnett are playing good basketball this year.

And this is why owners went ape shit with the negotiating of the CBA.

Eh, when rons engaged, he's still the best or second best wing defender in the league. It's getting him engaged that is the hard part.

And lets not pretend that Dengs contract is brilliant either. It's pretty hefty.

Deng is worth his contract because he can actually score and he is still relatively young. Any time a person starts off defending a player with, "When he's engaged...." you know he's worthless.

I'll say it again. Ray Allen.

I wish man, but it's not happening. There has been no indication of that happening. Honestly, as a die hard Bulls fan, I hope we get destroyed tonight. Blown out of the building. I know that if we win, management is gonna believe in our current roster and we'll go into the playoffs and get owned same as last year. Management needs a wake up call, that the current roster CANNOT beat the Heat in a 7-game series. No way.

It's obvious that the Bull's front office wants to see what happens in another Bulls/Heat series. If they lost to the Heat again this year I guarantee you that they're going to be looking to pull off major trades next season.

G-Hill is a combo guard by the strictest definition. He does play a significant amount of PG on offense, in fact I'd wager its the majority of his minutes (or at least it was when he was in SA, I'm not positive about his minute distribution on the Pacers).

But whatever. The point is that if I'm choosing one player to guard the PG position in the NBA, I'd pick George Hill. Followed by Rondo and then Conley/Shump/Rubio.

When Melo is facing up a defender near the low block he's still deadly, that's where he needs to keep getting the ball. Looks like we're not so out of position to get rebounds this game, hope we keep it up because we've been getting crushed there lately.

Our team is exactly the same. Hamilton is nothing. The Heat are far better than last year. Nothing will change. Only way to score at end of games is Rose iso - Lebron guards Rose with double team if needed - series over.

If Blazers trade Felton they have a chance to make playoffs. Guy is a cancer and a crappy player. Bottom line. Period.

gawdamn

I'm looking at Portland's roster and I have no idea what direction that team is going in. It seems like a hodgepodge of old players, headcases, and shit.

What happened to the blazers? Are they playing awful like this on purpose?

No leadership on the floor, none of the guards know how to pass the ball into Aldridge, and when he does get it he's double or triple teamed, zero effort on defense, bad rebounding, and no sense of caring about winning ball games.
