According to Ravens Insider Aaron Wilson, Winston will visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, followed by the St. Louis Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions. Considering Wilson is reportedly last on Winston's list, it might be tough for Detroit to land him.
Most NFL teams pressure visiting free agents to sign contracts before leaving the facility. The odds of Winston making it out of three other cities without a contract are slim, but definitely not impossible.
Winston, 28, was a third-round selection out of the University of Miami in 2006. He has started in 87 of 92 games in his six-year career.
In addition to his durability, Winston's blocking ability has enabled Texans running back Arian Foster to arguably become the NFL's top rusher. He has also blocked successfully enough for Texans quarterback Matt Schaub to connect with Adrian Johnson on a consistent basis.
