From now on every time I think about posting on gaming side I'm just gonna do this
pat-bailout2.gif

Welcome back! BTW, I ventured into Gaming today, only to see Evilore drive by troll a thread about not one, but two of my absolute favorite games. I learned my lesson.

I would take Moore over small hands any day.

I was looking over his games this year, and they are not that bad. They weren't stellar but Smith doesn't seem like much of an upgrade. Give Moore three more games and likely has very similar stats to Smith. Threw a few more picks, but Smith was very conservative.

It's all about Peyton Manning.

Bud Adams is crazy.

Seems like it. I thought Peyton would take the Superbowl route and attempt to cement his legacy. He still be great and who knows what will happen if he goes to TN, but if he wants the best shot at Superbowl(s), it's with SF.

Really? I haven't heard anything about the titans since like Thursday.

That's what I've been seeing. Who the hell really knows though.

The article someone posted a ways back (a day or two) had said Peyton had two considerations when considering a team: #1, how likely was that team to get him to the superbowl and #2, how would his family like the area (or something similar).

Sounds like San Francisco to me!
The Super Bowl part, not sure about the second one.

Yea, I think the other one I'd give the edge to Tennessee, which is probably why its taking this long to decide. At least, given he grew up there (or rather, went to College there).

Neither did Griffin.

In fact let's look at the TCU game, a well coached defense by all accounts. What did Griffin do in that game?

Baylor sat in trips and ran the following: wr screen to front side, front side wr screen with a deep fade - pump fake screen and throw fade, an actual wr pass to deep fade off a wr screen look, backside slant, front side slant, and the infamous wr pass back to the QB. All of these plays had one thing in common, wr screen.

These defenses can be picked apart if you give them a scheme they haven't seen on film. Like the Huskies fan said, most defenses are shit, some are better coached but don't have the athletes.

We'll see, a year or two from now you can all call me an idiot, but I've seen at least 8 games and I'm pretty confident that he'll have success in this league.
Actually you have a good point about Griffin. At Baylor almost all of his passes are either short passes (slants, screens, etc) or long bombs down field. He rarely had to make the intermediate throws that QBs need to consistenly make in the NFL. It is something he will need to prove he can do.

Posters who run to mods should serve a quarter of the ban of which they cause to another poster. It'd cut down on the petty tattle-tale types.

At the Browns board that I frequent, there are some people all about drafting Tannehill at 4. God please help us. God and Baby Jesus help us.

Don't think it'll happen. Heckert knows that is too steep a price for a QB with so many unknowns about him. I think we'll try to trade down again and take Richardson somewhere 6-10. If not, take Claibourne at #4.

At this rate, I want us to call Chad Pennington, his shoulder should be alright by now. If we pay Tiny Hands 8 mil a year, I will need a new liver by the end of next season...

Do you think it will be better if we just stuck with Moore and draft Tannehill? I'm not really liking small hands as our QB.

I have Marquette beating Florida as well, but this is a deeper team than they get credit for.

If their shots fall, they'll beat Marquette. If they don't, Kenny Boynton and Erving Walker will sink their team just like they did last year, snitches.

Yes, regardless of if we can get or want Tannehill. I'm a bit worried that Flynn signed with the Seachickens b/c Ireland and Ross overruled Philbin. I hope he has some say in stuff.

I know FMT is always behind his 9er homies, but I don't trust he can repeat a year like that. Certainly not 8 mil per year worth, imo, which is what is being discussed apparently.

I wouldn't mind us becoming a run-oriented team and defy the odds, but that ain't gonna happen.
