Probably all the negativity towards Tebow comes from guys who did not see every Broncos game. Notice Denver fans like what he did. Basically, the people that know him the best like him, if you take Manning out of the picture. Complain when the season starts and you actually see what he does as the Jets starter.

LOL dude puff puff pass that shit your smoking it sounds stellar.

I'll admit that's funny.
Will you buy a Tebow jersey?

Probably not. Depending on the draft I might get one of the draftees, Greene, Sanchez, or D'Brick this year.

Why does Sparano get all this praise for??

I watched him when he coached the Dolphins and nothing about the offense was good.

He had one fluke year making the playoffs which was only because Brady was out, and Favre fiasco was going on in NY.

Other then that he was horrible.

Granted he did not have much to work with (Chad Henne) but still the playcalling was just as bad. Jets fans should be ready for checkdowns galore followed by the occasional slant pass.

This is going to be the trade that makes or more probably breaks the Rex Ryan era. How are they going to control the media firestorm that's about to erupt? It's going to be ridiculous. Maybe Timmah will teach Cro abstinence and this is all part of God's plan.

The starting gun already went off man.

I hope its really occasional.

Dude Tebow won't replace Sanchez.

He is our new Brad Smith. Nothing more.

Not saying Tebow is replacing Sanchez. Sanchez just sucks.

Jets owe him 8 mil guaranteed in 2013. Nothing after that. He plays the way he played this year and the Jets may very well cut him after this season.

I watched every minute of every Bronco game (including preseason) this year. Tebow came in at the right time (shit was stagnating with Orton). I know that Tebow is wildly inaccurate, and his religion rubs people the wrong way especially him bringing it to the forefront after/during games. But the dude left it all out on the field.

When the time came for him to make some throws, he did. He picked up yardage on the ground when he needed to. It wasn't pretty, and the defense and Prater gave him significant help, but goddamn was it a fun and memorable season.

The win over the Steelers in overtime is one of my favorite Bronco moments outside of the stuff Elway did. So for me (and I assume) other Bronco fans it's hard to see him go. You don't have a magical season like that and immediately transition to the new guy without some feelings and trepidation.

I still think he has a ton of room for improvement and will be a serviceable qb at some point. The guy is pretty relentless and I think if anyone can pull it off, he can. Maybe I'm delusional and he is garbage, but goddamit he was our garbage and when the time came for him to step up he delivered.

tebow has never had a coach that really helped him and tried to let him be a real QB. there is no reason to believe he can't turn into a productive QB but there are going to be some growing pains. still, i feel like if a team would invest the time and have some patience he could improve his passing

I wouldn't have minded this move if the Jets didn't pick up Stanton or if they plan to use Tebow as a TE and a QB but they need to fix some other pieces too. The draft will be important this year and they still need a few more pieces.

I don't think anyone in the Jets organization is planning on it. But wait until Sanchez stinks it up and 70,000 fans are chanting for Tebow. And then non-stop Skip Bayless on the tv and in the papers.

I can understand that it was a moral lifter and pleasing to have gone to the playoffs on the wings of a sub-par quarterback. It still does not warrant the superstar treatment that he has been receiving. I'm happy for the guy and he does deserve credit for at least making something happen last year.

I agree FMT. I know this will eventually lead to Harbs/Smith example, but a coach who believes in and a staff that works to improve him goes a long way imo.

I can't control what the media does with him. I agree that he is overexposed relative to his talents. Personally, I always wanted it to die down, and for him to have more of a relaxed environment to develop in. The media, largely Bayless and ESPN, didn't want that to happen.

They need parts but another runner was one of them. Especially in goal line and short yardage situations. I don't like Greene at all honestly. Jets need to get another back to compete with him for the starting job anyway.

People act like the Jets gave up a 1st to get him. It's a 4th and a swap of a 6/7. It's really not that huge of a price to pay. Jets will do a lot of things with Tebow, more so if hes not actually the everydown QB.

So Jets finally got Tebow eh? Awesome! Congratulations Jets fans. You have a great hard working young man as your QB. May he bring you lots of publicity and merchandise sales to your franchise.

You're the resident cool Jets fan. What do you think?

Timmy has just as much potential as McElroy. I wish I knew what the jets picks were this year (packers trade and Jags trade is still TBA). If they use the wildcat more I have no problem but they did just sign Stanton and they need to get a WR and pass rush.

Jets got Kerley for a 5th last year. You can get value for a 4th. Hell and extra OLineman would be perfect.

If it was a 5 and 7th I would agree but a 4th could still be useful.
