I think she's probably not lying when she says she was upset by the Trayvon Martin murder, and she was probably stewing in anger and connecting everything back to that. She probably had enough of standing still and going about her normal life, so she snapped. All of that is perfectly understandable though not ideal, but what is unforgivable is that after snapping she went on a racist rant about whites and Jews and "sand niggers" and such. That's some suppressed hatred pouring out.

That's evidence that Darwin predicted certain things, but those predictions were only derived from his theory (of natural selection), not inherent in the theory itself.

More information was posted on the previous page. It wasn't about her recent discovery of the finer points of Darwin's theory. She was dealing with some internal issues regarding the Trayvon murder, she even said so herself.

"He was killed in a such a way that struck a nerve with my family and I," Carr said during the interview.

Carr said that when she was growing up her brothers were often questioned in their Broward County community even though they were doing nothing wrong, just like Trayvon Martin.

"A normal everyday occasion such as walking and he died for that," said Carr.

Fast forward 16 hours later and Carr is placed in the back of an FAU patrol car. According to the police report Carr "suddenly began yelling at her instructor and class saying things like, 'white people suck, Jewish people who think the world is theirs which it is not, I will kill you'....Carr kept going on about killing people."

I think Boerseun was trying to explain the nature of the question, not the cause of the breakdown. Both things separately caused confusion and he was trying to explain the first one.

I can understand his point on that, but I disagree with him on his other point that the professor is to blame for anything. He's looking at this from the perspective of the crazy girl and only the crazy girl. He also said the girl was obviously emotional and thus the professor shouod have done ore to assauge her, but her emotionality wasn't obvious until after the professor gave his answer.

Race is a human construct though. We know now definitively that we are all the same species.
