Awesome, bought!
I was looking at the on demand version, but that costs an insanely 70 euros (almost 60 pounds)

That is insane.
I kinda maybe (not really) understand that price here in (Estonian) retail shops, since they have to import everything (god knows for what price) and make some profit.
But digitally, straight from Microsoft... Horrible!

I would prefer some Kirby games reduced :D
I picked up Epic Yarn for £9.99 new in the Blockbuster Christmas sale, maybe they'll have that again in another sale at some point. As for the DS games, you're on your own :P I got them used a while ago, maybe that's worth looking at for the sane side of the price scale :)

Oh come on, match the price for the MGS-Collection on PS3 to the 360-version zavvi. Comeoncomeoncomeon

Anyone know the cheapest place for insta 2100 points, rather not wait for the mail an find that it went missing? Getting ready for Fez and trials. Thanks in advance.

Ebay

@Stubo
Wow, 10 pound brandnew? Do they have online too? Hm yeah, I am aiming for Mass Attack and Dreamland Returns :)

Meh, it'll barely make a difference.
What make you so sure?

People forget that Jersey/Guernsey retailers use 'circular shipping'. The items arrive in the UK, are put on a ship to Jersey/Guernsey, delivered to the retailers warehouse, and then packaged and put on a ship back to the UK mainland when you place an order. The only reason that 'circular shipping' was ever profitable was because of the LVCR VAT loophole.

With the LVCR VAT loophole closed companies will have no reason to stay in Jersey/Guernsey - in fact its going to become a disadvantage for them compared to retailers based on the mainland, due to the double shipping costs.

So they will likely have to relocate to the mainland (Or possibly another country) and that is going to be costly, then you have to factor in 20% VAT on top of the price of all products, plus Royal Mail's 30% price increases for postage (Wont be 30% for companies, but it'll still go up)

...I cant see how all these changes wont affect prices.

I honestly don't understand the logic behind the pricing that service.

If they even attempted to do Steam like sales (regular sub £10 on some items), I would go out and buy the (rip off) 320GB HDD and start building a digital collection of buying games right away.

That is insane.

The worst part is, that it's also currently the best selling on demand game

Apparently Blockbuster is offering an extra 20% more for trade-ins starting today and ending 8th April according to CVG.

Typical, I just traded in my games on Wednesday there :/

While those prices look good compared to what the incredibly inflated costs usually are, site looks dodgy?

I thought that too, but could not find anything on Google commenting on bad experiences.

However, beats are still marketing bullshit. If the people involved spent the same amount of money they did developing the damn product that they stuck in their marketing, the product might actually be worthwhile.

True.

GAF be wary though, the amount of fake beats headphones is astronomical, and a lot of people can't tell the difference. That site is not listed as an official reseller on the beats official website.

So, prices are supposed to go up starting next month right ?

If most games I want to buy stay in the 20-25£ zone, it's okay.
I'm buying less games anyway.

Play, Zavvi (and the other off-shore sites) could rise there prices - although prices will still drop IMO.

HMV and Tesco still drop prices, and Amazon still match them even with those sites above not involved. Those sites will also have to remain competitive - so they will have to keep price low.

I don't see a huge change coming

At that price it would be rude not to snag a copy of Binary Domain, and with reward points I have on my account at Shopto, it came to £12.43 :-D

Binary Domain keeps tempting me but I have too much of a 3DS backlog to justify buying at the mo.

I will pick up eventually, as I will with Yakuza:DS, but after reading SEGAs financial woes, I feel like I should do my part and buy them now...

Got a £5 voucher code to spend at Gamestation if anyone is interested. Voucher is valid until 31.03. A minimum spend of £10 applies.

Didn't work, I guess someone got there first. A good thing to spend these codes on would be Microsoft points or a PSN voucher card.
