The XBLA Releases For The Next Month Are Ridiculous!

Honestly think XBLA was the best platform this generation but outside of trials I don't think any of those games will be good. (Games media will circle jerk around Fez since it's indie platformer #98789)

or 150+ levels with lots of exploration...this isn't your average 15 minute long pixel+chiptune deal.

I just hope the physics feel right.

It's weird how everyone seems to ignore XBLA when making list wars but it could be it's own separate system.

I'll download the demo for everything and buy what moves me but FEZ is on the top of my list right now. Better stock up on points.

I think Steam seems to overshadow XBLA and PSN a lot. Games tend to get a lot more support and people tend to play them for a lot longer. Not to mention a lot of xbla games tend to end up there eventually..

I feel like its almost impossible to find people playing a certain XBLA game a month after release. Yet similar releases on Steam still seem to get lots of love for a good while.

SKULLGIRLS!!!!

and fez looks neat, but games like those offer very little replayability. And man oh god fuck trials, I remember the endless nights me and my friends competed against eachother in beating the others score...I dont think my heart could take it.

diabolical pitch looks hilarious. shame I don't have a kinect.

skull girls looks shyte.

Fez i'm curious about but will wait until impressions.

Trials I'll skip because the first game (while excellent) was so hardcore that I did'nt have the time to even beat it. I could go back and get a lot more game out of that one yet.

The pinball arcade I'll skip, because I'm already pretty deeply invested in Pinball fx2 and I just fell in love with that again.

I think it'll end up being Fez and not much else.

I can't justify buying MOBA games like Awesomenauts on XBLA. The community always dies out unless the game is super popular and fun.

At least on Steam the games have legs, with all the sales and publicity. I can play Altitude once every few months and have a blast.

Yeah, that's my view on it also. It's strange the platform that the genre is most popular on is getting is last. And that's not even definite.

Trials for me.

Need to see impressions for Fez. Same for Walking Dead (and then I'll get the PC version), already have Minecraft.

Anomaly is fun. I already have it on PC though, so I'll be buying FEZ, Trials and maybe Bloodforge if it turns out to be good.

Trials has GOTY potential. Well, personal GOTY, anyway. For some reason the media doesn't consider anything without a $50 or $60 MSRP as a legit candidate.

Only interested in Trials. Maybe in Bloodforge and Skullgirls for halfprice. Depends on the reviews. More hyped for other releases like Spelunky HD and Dust.

I was saying in the Skullgirls thread, XBLA hasn't been this stacked for releases since Geometry Wars and Castle Crashers.

Trials is obviously the biggest release here, it's my only 100% pick up.

I played The Splatters last year and it deserves more hype than it's getting. But it's hard to see the appeal until you play it. It has some elements of artillery games like Worms and Angry Birds, and some of the chain reaction planning of Peggle or pool. And then it adds in another layer of insanity and time travel.

It makes no sense until you get a hands on, so check out the demo in a few weeks.

Came in here to post this. I strongly encourage everyone to check out the trial version on this. IMO it's the sleeper of the bunch listed in the thread.

That does look pretty cool, and I heartily approve of the song chosen for the trailer.
