Mii's should be Hatsune Mikuroject Mirai like Nendoroid style...you can even play dress up there ~_~
Would fit perfectly but probably too big in filesize? Guess they'll stay the same as on the 3DS?

Too anime for my liking. Plus I don't think it suits Miis very well.
EDIT: Plus it makes Miis look like little kids.

Your hands would only be on the sides on the original controller, and this is no different. Your palms won't be on the corners. Also, I guess it's hard to see but the edges next to the buttons have been rounded so only front facing shape of the controller is square.
Sorry if this is hard to understand, I'm pretty tired.

It is almost too efficient to the point that it looses Nintendo's chubby charm, but I'd buy it, very nice work!

The curved underside of your ridge might make the controller more fatiguing to hold.
Otherwise it's damn sexy. Saved.

As much as I like the circlepad on the 3DS, if they don't click on the Wii U's, that will be disappointing.

This square controller would have fit the design of the Wii.
I feel exactly the same. The 3DS slidepads are pretty good, but not "proper-analog-stick-good".
I wonder if the WiiU is going to make an appearance at Gamescom this year, because I want to get my hands on that thing.

With a launch later this year i would say it's pretty possible that it will hit GamesCom.
the lines are going to be horrific. I just going to watch from far away and collect streetpasses like an idiot.
the pads aren't really that bad since they're flat against the surface of the thing. the problem with them is that they're fucking tiny and have the same top design as the nunchuck controller's stick for the grip.
That's what I've been saying. A more perfect combo there could not be.

Well, there is a touch screen right there so I don't think there will be enough buttons on the pad. I really don't care for clicking analogs.

I'm not a huge fan of pads either but the 3DS ones are serviceable so I imagine these wil be OK. What we all just need to do if it bothers us is wait for Nyko to make the Subscreen Pro.

I moan and sigh wistfully about the non-BC with GameCube, but if Nintendo somehow makes it such that I can play every console Zelda on this one machine (like they did with the Wii), I'll be quite content.
Two copies, sold immediately, one staying wrapped for posterity's sake (as usual). Then, copies for the nieces and nephews - Uncle Tommy's little Nintendo fanatics-in-training. I'm imagining that such a title would sell like gangbusters, and could be a title released either as a holiday hit or as something to tide us over while waiting for Zelda U.
That, and I'm imagining my first annual HD Zeldathon.. sounds so lovely.
A great thing about a home version would be that I wouldn't have to restrain myself from shouting along with them as they're making their dance moves.

I could see Nintendo trying something like Elite Beat Agents to try and get in on the music game genre. It was a cult hit with the DS so a fresh shot on the Wii U could be big.

This is pretty much the only thread on gaf I can stand to read and post in the majority of the time now. That's partly due to the fact that everyone here is just plain civil most of the time, partly because I haven't played any new games other than zelda in the last few months, and partly because console wars bullshit is relatively absent (with intermittent exceptions dependent on the hit and run posts and wild rumors).
