Tinker seems to be insanely strong now when march is bugged, but I can still see him being picked after the fix tomorrow as people have discovered how to implement him into their ma.
 
Yeah, I don't see him disappearing into the ether on account of these fixes. Solid hero with maddening push and farm power, and a lot of teamfight utility as well.
 
Undying's Zombies has a texture file now:

talking about other fixes:
- Tiny: Fixed Aghanim tree doing too much damage to buildings.
- Tiny: Fixed Aghanim tree cleaving when attacking buildings.
This is kinda interesting, how much more damage was he doing?
Because if it's a significant amount I wouldn't be surprised tiny dissapearing completely from competitive play (not that we have seen him that much the last couple of weeks)
 
A pretty large amount. He should have had 75% bonus damage, he had 175%.

- Pudge: Reduced the delay before being able to issue orders after Meat Hook.

Really happy about that one, sometimes I would cast Dismember too fast and it wouldn't work and the person I hooked would either be out of Rot range or just run away completely because it always takes so long.

If anybody can get into a server on test client would love to know how big the change is.

I read it all. Much better than having to read stuff about Swag and the rest of the inhousers everyday. It is actually interesting unlike you guys' circle jerks. :P Shit, it wouldn't be so bad if you talked about the games themselves instead of each other.

You even read the shit like "remap_gank_opvar_value"? I don't believe you. I don't know why anybody besides either the dev or somebody doing mods would give a shit about all of the value names and values.
 
Do I understand all of it? No, not by any means. I do, however, look through it all and enjoy just checking it out. I guess he could put in another format so it doesn't require so much scrolling though.

MM seems to be better now, takes a little longer to get into a game though. Seems to be around 8 minutes or so. Haven't seen anyone with less than ~150 wins in my games and I have 300

Honestly I don't have much to talk about related to the game at this point. However new information about sounds being added to the game that I'm going to read in a much cleaner way on Cyborgmatt's blog in a few hours, really isn't that interesting to me, I appreciate Kirby's efforts to get the information out there but let's at least be real here, the formatting is awful.

That being said, I don't even play in In Houses wtf

Honestly, if the formatting was better, and DrKirby would just only include the useful information, (like the picture of ck/pl/meepo/panda was cool, most of everything else could've been easily formatted into a tl;dr "panda lines are out, so are gyro's, cosmetic item slots are out, new mm algorithm") I'm sure alot more people would read what he wrote and appreciate it. But it honestly is quite annoying to scroll through lines and lines of script.

Just to clarify, are you talking eight minutes on the test client, or was the matchmaking fix on the server side to affect the release client? I'm sure it's probably the latter, but it could be weird. U:
 
As a TF2 fan, it's strange to see people not wanting to read updated code.

Cyborgmatt eventually posts all that stuff on the website but it's better than reading broken english trash talk.

First MM game the other team ragequits after 2 kills within 4 minutes.

edit: CK is definitely work in progress, so is meepo. They don't have texture work done.

Well yeah, those are most likely their final models. Meepo and Chaos Knight are WIP. I gotta say it's crazy how models change from beginning to finish though. Looks like so much work to go through.

So the Team stuff looks interesting. Are there any outlines on what features it'll have other than an icon and exclusive matchmaking/lobby? I'm hoping/guessing this'll be the "hardcore" mode with a ladder seeing as Valve can base performance on the team rather than individual players.

Other then a seperate ladder for teams I dunno what they could add, maybe team specific achievements?

I just remembered we were queuing really late and that may have been why it took so long, but even today the games I've played in have been really even
