Ok. Ok. OK.
Now I'm confused, I thought vision didn't block creep camps? Whats the distance in units for blocking a camp - that seems pretty far. Crazy.

Edit - How come this ward doesnt block the creep camp then? Its so close.

So they dont have universal distances for blocking? Its all predetermined block ranges?
That's really crappy. So lame.
I also hate the way ward placement is kind of limited to certain spots. Like on grass only, wtf?

So now that brewmaster is probably coming next week, is there anyone that know how he's currently built in competative games? He's used for pushing I guess, but is going agha still the way to go? I remember agha (or his ulti) got a nerf a while back since it was extremly strong. Going dagger pretty fast could work too, jumping in and using his spells and just pop ulti to start some chaos in the beginning of the fights. Anyone that here that has seen some pro games with him lately that knows?

I'm having a little problem with harassing in the laning phase. Chiefly, how do you keep aggro from the creep wave off yourself when you go for a few pot shots at your laning opponent (mainly as melee...not a problem with range)? Sometimes I do this well and sometimes I don't...I'm just trying to get more consistent at this phase...

Gosu puts them behind aL (deservedly, aL has had quite a lot of success and is one of the few teams to beat na'vi for a tournament prize).

aL definitely be in my top 3, would really like to see them play each other.

Can anyone download this replay? Match ID 10989966, unavailable for me :@

Fantastic information.

Where do you place to block the large group that also gives rune vision? Somewhere in the top left of that camp?
You can place a ward right in the middle (slightly close to the top riverbank) of the medium camp that will block it and give you limited vision of bot rune. You can see the rune and just below the camp just fine though

Useless fact: There is a .3 second window in which Shallow Grave can end, you still have the Frost Blast Debuff on and be below the threshold, but not die. You have receive some damage in order to shatter (even a 0 damage attack), the last damage tick of Frost Blast happens before the debuff is removed.

I like the Veil on the Queen of Pain. Just 5% magic resistance remaining on any heroes without a cloak, which goes without saying adds a lot to her ability to burst supports and the like down. The Tidehunter and AA ultimates hit for nearly their sticker value (855~ combined damage), which is especially significant for the latter. Unfortunately for Dignitas, Epidemic was paying attention and had numerous BKBs active in the fights.

That swap on Druid at the mid barracks was huge, gave epidemic the opening they needed to take the barracks. Kunkka carving out a niche against blinking/orbing heroes in this here metagame?

I actually have the opposite opinion, pubs push too much. Specially the ones that think they can win every game by pushing. Pushing is like this game's concede function.

Completely the truth. Lycan on the other team "WE HAVE TO PUSH WE CAN'T WIN THIS LATE GAME." We have 3 late game heroes, all they have is lycan, they aren't doing that great. Proceeds to feed lycan 5 kills trying to solo push like an idiot.

I feel like that is were they lost the lead they had gained back. Sylla was the only hero keeping them up hard against the Dire's base, and the moment they lost that Radiance presence, Dire saw their advantage and went full in, and they never caught up again after that.

As great of initiation the Puck/Tide were, that team really needed some more damage, as the QoP was the only one really doing it. AA was a bad pick in my mind as they already had silence, slow, QoP semi-slow, and Entangle from Druid. They could have benefited from a Riki like Tobi was saying, which would have given them mid to late game team fight power.

Aw yiss, Tobynderen!

(Kunkka ban to shield the AM and QoP)

Yeah, I'll agree that AA's role was more or less usurped by his teammates, his only key contribution was his ultimate interrupting Chen's global heal, and Cold Feeting an ensnared target for the long stun. A Riki could have been great, he'd have a fair chance at rendering clutch supports like Vengeful Spirit much less effective throughout the game.

He's used as an anti-carry, and he does this incredibly well because he can take the enemy carry out of the fight for over 5 seconds and then plague them with massive miss chance (while doing insane damage himself). General item build to shoot for is phase, soul ring, magic wand, blink dagger, and drums of endurance, with scepter as luxury. Remember his earth panda carries all auras. If you're still farming after that and the game is still going on, shoot towards either a Necrobook if you have the micro skillz or Shiva's Guard otherwise.

Reverse Draft at joinDOTA tommorow, should be fun to watch.

It's Captain Mode, but the opposing team choose your heroes. If you ever wanted to see some Necrolyte play it might be your only chance.
