Yeah up here in canada it's harder to find cheap boxes off and online (im in Vancouver), hence why i made a big deal over it

Same thing for Toronto. I typically pay $110 a box (taxes in). One time I happened to be at a comic store for something else and they were selling Innistrad boxes for $90 before taxes, and that's the cheapest I've ever paid. I'm very happy with my LGS, since they're the only shop I know of that doesn't gouge on sealed product. This includes the FTV releases.

Totally buying a box of AVR. I'm probably too late for the BAB promo, but I don't care too much about that. I just wanna open packs again.

Hey, it's fun and unless you're a hoarder you can pretty much break even and even get ahead if you actually sell the super value cards.

No regrets! I'll be buying a box of AVR, then singles of what I want.

Same, I know singles are the way to go but buying a box and opening 36 packs is a fucking blast. Feels bad man.

I also want to make a huntsmaster deck but is it worth building a deck now before avacyn comes out? I'm afraid to spend a lot of money and then new decks kill it off.

Trade credit at my local store or to friends. Most often I'll use them for trades to friends (I have a rather large play-group). Meh, it depends. Pulled a foil Tezzeret back in Scars block and got $60 trade credit for him, when the shop was selling him for $95 or so. That's a pretty good trade value. Got $40 for a foil Liliana from INN as well.

I would take out the pilgrims - you don't need any mana ramp in your deck. Replace them with Oblivion rings or surgical extraction imo.

Ugh, yeeeeaaaah. I hate when that happens. That's why after buying a box I usually just buy 1-2 packs every so often just for fun. No rage/regrets then, usually. Except for M11 when I kept getting useless leylines...lots of rage then lol.

Everyone's hoping for the new Jace, Mind Sculptor. I don't think we're going to see one for a while. R&D seems acutely aware of printing a card like that whenever it happens.

I hope not, I am curious how the new blue planes walker will be though. I think everyone will be trying to run it at least initially because they want it to be the next jace so hard. I hope I get a lot of those to sell. They'll probably plummet eventually too.

Yeah, I'll sell her immediately if I get her. Jace pretty much read "use this card: win the game". She's nowhere near that good and won't retain her $40 price unless someone finds a way to break her (see: Kibler with Huntmaster)

Well, the tokens from gather the townsfolk, doomed traveler and the mayor. Pretty handy card to have when most of your deck is token based.

Does that happen often? I thought ebay protected buys like 10x better than sellers. I bought from ones with stores, like 1000s of good feedback and like 99.9% satisfaction so hopefully I'm fine. I heard other people go to ebay so I assumed it was safe.

I have no idea, tbh. But a real store like TCGplayer or SCG has more cache with me than random people on eBay.

I've never been ripped off on eBay personally.
