GRAW 2 single-player was a stunner when it released. Are the visuals at least equal to or better than GRAW 2?

It's a little better. Character models have more detail. Environments don't look that much better to me though. I don't think it runs as well though.
But yeah this is just the mp.

Just played a round. Realllly bad lag.
GRAW 2 still looks amazing
This game is also pretty but it's not as clean as GRAW and colours are more toned.
I'm curious if campaign look's better.There was pretty big difference between multiplayer and single player in GRAW 1/2 but there was no coop in campaign though.

Are you comparing it to GRAW1 and 2 or to older Ghost Recons?
Always felt the aiming and running in GRAW felt strange. I hope they've changed both for the better.

Man, when you nail that combo of cover, turn, shoulder switch and light some dude up is just sooo good.
I'm also liking the hit detection so far. I feel like shots I'm hitting are taking dudes out so no complaints yet.
The health so far is fine, please don't bust an Uncharted here.
Going to play some more later, this time with a buddy instead of randoms, even though they were actually doing the objectives.

Had a chance to try both PS3 and 360 now.
Graphically the 360 version looks higher res, but it seems to suffer from a bit of slowdown.
Nothing gamebreaking for me though, enjoyable game all round - really loving it!

It's nothing like Gears of War.
Anyway I kinda like the cover system .. Stupid simple but very functional. Lag and hit detection seem weird

Are there game modes for the less team-oriented gamer? I'm not one to ever strap my mic on and talk to random people. I'm 100% for going for the objectives and playing sensibly, but I don't know if I can be bothered coordinating everything verbally. Can I have fun/get by simply with smarts and competence?

Yeah, the hud tells you what to do. Also, if you have a competent ENG on the team a lot of the team will be spotted for you. Also, hitting down on the Dpad calls for help and displays your location on the hud.

shaky cam when running (roadie run), and shooting and feel of weapons feel more like gears of war/uncharted then ghost recon.

Rad. The sprint animation in this game is godly. And sliding into cover looks to have quite the satisfying *WHUMP*. I hope there are some Aussies all over this bitch.
