Whats everyone think of
that first loki vs captain america fight?
I thought cap would of put up a better fight. Does loki have super strength like thor?

I think Cap did okay considering it's his first real fight after coming out of ice, and he was up against a god. He got smashed pretty bad, but he tried! ;_;

ah,
schwarma
is basically a
kebab
. I had no idea what RDJ was talking about, thought it was some kind of
spiritual healing place
:P

Ah, I can confirm that second post-credits scene. I would have liked to seen that, seems pretty funny.
Attached to wide release on Friday for US'ers.

This is so fucking unfair.

It sucks that I didn't get to see the scene.

;_; I'd rather see this than that 1st post-credit scene. I had no idea what it was until I read up on the net.

You'd rather stay there waiting till all the credits are over to see a small follow up of a joke rather than the tease of
Marvel's biggest villain?
.

I don't get it. This is a funny little thing, and I'd certainly be pissed if we had gotten this scene and saved the other one for America only.

Seriously? Who gives a shit?

Well, d'oh! Obviously I do. Such a dumb thing to say, just because you don't like something like that, it doesn't mean others won't. It's the very thing that got you that new username because you kept acting like it's a sin that some people like The Expendable.

From the POV of a non-comic book readers, that 1st post-credit scene meant nothing. It's completely worthless and went over many people's head without further context.
After all, the villains in this piece seem like a bunch of nobodies so for me it was like: "Oh, bigger boss?" *shrug*
. OTOH, that 2nd post credit scenes are about
the characters that I already know and a follow-up to a dialogue that preceeded it. So of course I'd be more interested in it
. YMMV.

^Second after-credit scene is awesome :D

Can't wait for the bluray, it'll definitely have better extras than TDKR... ( :[ )

Has anyone mentioned a particular Black Widow scene where
she's trapped lying down on her stomach and we get a lingering butt shot?
That was pure genius...

It's called Shoarma over here, and yep, it's basicly kebab, we have more shoarma shops then kebab though.

What? It was during
the Hulk rampaging on the airship/engine damage part
. What were you watching the movie for, man? :p

Oh...OH right!
I misread that entirely. Read ''Lingering'' as ''Lingerie''.

But yea. I paid quite the attention during those scenes. At one point, before that scene
You get the camera just following her ass like it's just there...in the right hand corner of the screen guiding you into SHIELD HQ.

Best superhero movie confirmed indeed.

I guess I just don't entirely understand getting pissed off by not seeing an extra, ancillary bonus (bonus) scene that has no bearing on the plot. One that will likely get uploaded to YouTube on Friday, or earlier.

depends on your perspective. If you're into your comic books, the first reveal is...revealing. Personally I had no idea who it was - looks like
Hellboy's Dad
. I'd much rather have seen the second clip.

But yeah, it'll wait for the bluray

Because I paid the same amount of money (or more, considering we have to pay $28 to see 3D here and $25 to see 2D) to see the same film that everyone will see. How is it fair that a portion of the audience don't get the same amount of movie + extras that a small portion of the audience will get? Sure, it'll be uploaded to YouTube but being able to see it right away after the film after seeing what transpired in the film would be a much better experience.

And I disagree about it not having a bearing on the plot.
The scene implies that despite earlier conflicts between the members, they seem capable of sharing one moment where they actually act as friends (not just comrades). To me the ending was a bit abrupt with everyone went off their separate ways so quickly after the battle. It'd have been nice to see them get together for a bit more after the fight.

It's only a minute with no story centric dialogue or footage. No biggie

there was another scene missing from the film, which was used in the trailers (i think)
cap is standing in an alley in new york and throws his shield torwards the camera
. or maybe i just missed it.

Is is true there was another bonus scene after ALL the credits? A critic friend said such on Twitter for a US press screening he saw tonight. I didn't bother staying later than the dumb
Thanos
one last night.

We didn't have it either and I watched it last night.

All I have to say about this movie is meh.

I don't remember this one either:

It was in the teaser, but not the movie.

But this one is in the movie :

I wonder when they chose to use the "whip" sound... When reviewing the scene for the first time and thinking it was a funny thing, or later in production when they couldn't correct the scene ?

A couple of things about Hawkeye:

Love the little touches Whedon puts in to portray Hawkeye as being human - He actually runs out of arrows, and he couldn't get up after swinging through a window. Speaking of running out of arrows, why can't he carry a sidearm like he did at the beginning of the movie?

This was a very comedic, light-hearted moment. It all makes more sense in context.

I don't think GAF will be happy with Cap when he says
"There is only one god and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t dress like that"
in response to Widow's reference of Loki

Why?
Cap is the embodiment of 1940's America, and by extension ticks all of the boxes on what Americans prefer when it comes to choosing their leaders. It would make less sense for him to not be a conservative,
religious and patriotic person.

And to be honest. He's a good reminder that
religion
isn't always a bad thing. Not that I am
religious
or anything.
