Who would win in a fight? Batman or Ironman?

Batman wouldn't even need to fight, he would had the whole place set to blow up with Iron Man inside before he throws a punch.

Batman has beaten Superman.
 
I'd rather have Ironman's powers.

I think I could crush anyone with those powers. Yes, even Batman. I'd say Batman is the most overrated superhero out there. He can't even fly pfff, and he doesn't have anything supernatural going on.

*never read any Batman comics. Just going by the movies.
 
The real question should be who would win in a fight christian bale or robert downey jr. I would take christian bale.

I still think Iron Man would win.

They wouldn't fight. They would instead have a gentlemanly conversation about the effects of technology in the modern world, if all their heroics are truly making humanity better, and about how awesome Pepper and Lois are in bed.

All Iron Man would need to do is put photos of Batman's dead parents in Bruce's office/car/bathroom/utility belt/wherever.

By the way, is there a particular reason why Bruce doesn't go all out and makes a super Ironman-like armor with Wayne tech for himself?

Batman does not do this because the forces of F.A.N.B.O.Y. prevent him. He is forever relegated to karate chopping people.

i'd imagine for the same reason that he doesn't just use his Bruce Wayne money to enhance security at Arkham Asylum so that he's always jacked-in to the system to make sure nobody he puts in ever gets out

it's too easy so the comics would end
 
I've never understood how it's even possible for Batman to prevail against odds like these. I demand evidence!

For the "Road Home" story, he had a suit that could imitate the powers of the other JLA members.

And it was never seen again.
 
Batman would use that huge gun he keeps wielding in the new trailer to disable Iron Man's suit. All he has to do is disable the suit. Kevin Conroy batman would figure that out ahead of time, Bale batman and lucius would figure that out ahead of time, etc.
 
These questions always bug me because the core of Batman's character, what makes him compelling and what makes him interesting to watch and read about has absolutely nothing to do with his ability to actually fight. I'll gladly say that Iron Man would whup Batman in a direct confrontation, because going hand to hand with a dude isn't where Batman's strengths are.
