Yeah pretty much. Aus connections to the US are more or less always better than those to EU.

Personally I feel like we're in such early days that that's impossible to really say. For myself, I'm playing Wizard and having a good time. Leveling is pretty clearly a quick process, so not too much is at stake anyhow.

Blizzard tried to restrict skills to one per category (hence there being six skill categories and six buttons that unlock as you unlock that category). Too many people complained though so they introduced Elective Mode so people can put whatever skills they want onto any button.

The UI definitely was an afterthought though when it came to Elective Mode, it's more complicated than it needs to be to assign skills to your hotbar... a simple click and drag would work wonders - or just an option to show all skills/runes in every category at once.

I'm gonna go ahead and say it: It aint happening. Blizzard wants Battle.net to be part of the experience, and they won't bow down to Microsoft or Sonys rules. Also Real Money AH will never get past Microsoft atleast.

So, I overlvl'ed to 31 in the third act. Just wanted to be safe ... turned out I overdid it abit and killed the third act boss in 15 seconds.

I'm so fkn dumb, its not even funny anymore.

That is, as a Wizard, I can't have Ray of Frost, Arcane Orb, Frost Nova and Diamond Skin all usable at once?

It's just...weird to me, coming from WoW, where say, my mage, has all...like, 50 of her abilities active at once. lol

I'm level 16 and still in Act I, not sure if I'm overlevelling but I'm rolling over shit (leap + ground stomp + rend) with little trouble at the moment.

Yeah, the active skills unlock at the set levels whether you're in elective mode or not.

Oh, you're not even fully in game? Have you tried using the cursor keys or tab to select one of the menu options (just trying to login now so I can test this out).

EDIT: Looks like that doesn't work.

EDIT2: Have you tried changing the "DisplayModeWindowMode" option in D3Prefs.txt (should be in Documents\Diablo III)? Mine is set to 2 at the moment, fullscreen windowed mode.

Only managed to play Act I this morning. Game looks and feels great. Soundtrack sounded cool as well.

Anyone with the CE listened to the full thing yet? How is it? Always loved Russell Brower's work for Blizzard.

Man, I have a knack for picking the bitch class in every game I roll. Monk in FFXI, Paladin in Vanilla WoW, and now Wizard here.

dunno about in a group but I find the wizard hella fun to play solo. If there's one big plus to this game over D2 that's immediately apparent it's that every class is pretty damn fun right off the bat.

Nope, must have misunderstood you.

The idea is that you create a build and stick with it. They don't want you swapping skills on the fly.

Yeah, I switched to Dex items. In Act II I was all scared and had 250 vit/150 dex or smth. Now 460 dex/220 vit with 2,2k life.

No. DH is absurdly OP for HC if you ask me. If you want to have a look, thats from 2 hours ago: http://www.twitch.tv/realyyn/b/318365952 . I got my merc tanking, can stealth myself for 3 seconds while still shooting and can tumble away.
