It's that guy?

So it's probably rubbish then.

I hope
Yep, he said M'Vila would be announced after the WBA game. Now he's saying it'll be announced after the end of the French season.

He could be right of course, Kagawa himself has said he has other options and wants to consider them. Just...as we all know, it's Twitter, what sources do these ITK's have that other journalists etc don't.

What a shitty squad.

Terry, Downing, Carroll and Gerrard should not have been included and Parker or Hart should have been picked as captain. How the hell did Richards not make the squad!?!

Injury problem notwithstanding I don't think a Liverpool fan is in any position to comment on how Parker is unsuitable to be captain. Gerrard "led" Liverpool to 8th, Parker/King led Spurs to 4th.

Parker is a better captain than the thug that has been picked.

But Terry has led Chelsea to the CL final, should have been him!

Parker's not very good at football though

Looks like we(Sporting) are looking to bring in Hazard's brother. Never seen him play. Hopefully he is as good as his brother.
I've heard he's better.

Hmm, Hazard's brother going to Sporting? Jorge Mendes is Portuguese and is quite close to Sporting and MUFC. Maybe Eden Hazard is going to sign for Manchester United and as part of the deal they want Hazard's brother to get a move and as Mendes has sway in Portugal he's got him a move to Sporting. So basically, Hazard to MUFC. YAY!.

It's all a ploy, lads! Expectations will be low because of the sqaud, and then England will make Semis with ease...

But Terry has led Chelsea to the CL final, should have been him!

Can't have the manager as captain, Wilbury. Even you should know that.

I think we can all agree that most of the players in contention for the captaincy don't really deserve it, Parker included.

Also, Parker/King "led" Spurs to 4th from 3rd. With a 10-point lead. Just saying.

Thorgan or Kylian? Eden claims Thorgan is the better talent than him.. I dunno much about Kylian.

Funny article:

Mani's wife suggests Stone Roses are to blame for Manchester City's Premier League title win. The Stone Roses Tickets Bassist infamously said Madchester legends wouldn't reform until Blues tasted major success.

Flair, grit and determination - not to mention a nine-figure outlay on players - have all been cited in recent days as the reasons why Manchester City won the Premier League over the weekend.

However, fans of the club actually have one man to thank for their first title win in 44 years - and it's apparently not manager Roberto Mancini.

Nope, ironically it's staunch Manchester United fan Mani - who infamously said The Stone Roses wouldn't reform until the Blues tasted major success. Reminding fans of his prediction ahead of the band's huge reunion shows next month, the bassist's wife Imelda Mounfield described her husband as a modern day Nostradamus, tweeting:

imelda mounfield @imeldamounfield "City's win is all down to Mani , he predicted yrs ago the stone roses would play again after city won the league !!!! Nostradamus or what"

Milner's main advantage is that he can play both CM and winger, so that's probably why he's in. You can also always count on him giving 100%. Let's say you'd take him out, who would you rather have? Henderson?

(Don't say Carrick, he's more of a Barry/Parker type)

I'm actually a big fan of Milner. His stats this season don't reflect his actual ability. But I can't help but feel like there were games where he - much like Nasri - would disappear and not inject himself into the game. He's not a terrible choice, because as you pointed out, he is versatile and can be played centrally or wide. And you just know that's going to be important when someone inevitably goes down. However, I bet if Wilshere were fit, it would be Milner making way.

And speaking of Fraser Forster, what about Gary Hooper?! Every time I would check on the SPL he seemed to be on the scorers sheet. What else does the guy have to do? With Rooney out for two games, Hooper should have been considered.

Probably did leave Ferdinand out for footballing reasons. Agger couldn't get a game under Roy.

Agger: 'I'm here to play, not to unload'.

Me said:
Terry shits himself whenever he doesn't have someone covering his back when within 20 yards of a player with a modicum of pace, movement or close control. And even if he does do his job properly marking-wise, he'll probably fall over on his face at the worst possible time

Terry shits himself when he has to defend against a player with a modicum of ball control and pace. He's more like to fall flat on his face then actually be able to chase someone.

Can you copyright that which is obvious to everyone? :P

New City home shirt I posted a few weeks back. Kolarov was wearing it, I guess that's it then , good as confirmed.

Someone confirmed it on the previous page I think. I am a bit surprised it lacks any "flair." This season's had the little dots which I thought was a sharp touch. This one looks quite plain and is more in line with the existing 3rd shirt. I do like the black and white crest and black collar though. Really sharp looking.

Btw, Micah Richards is so classy. Good for him..

"Of course my initial reaction is to be gutted but a manager is there to pick a squad and he cannot pick everyone," he said.

"No one will be cheering louder than me for England when the championships start. My really good mates from City and other clubs will be playing and of course I want my country to win.

Richards, who started 31 league and cup games for the Blues this season and in doing so took his career tally to 210, will now have a well-earned rest before pre-season.

"I will take myself off on holiday and come back refreshed and ready to start again next season," he concluded.

"There is so much to look forward to starting with City’s trip to China and Malaysia and then the Community Shield match against Chelsea. We are defending the Premier League title and we will be ready to be competitive in the Champions League.

"Hopefully I will play my share of those games and will be selected for the England squad at some time in the future."

He's young enough to play for Team GB without even requiring an age exception I'd think (23 is the max without using one of the slots for older players, right?). I wonder if Pearce will see if he's interested?

It is Thorgan
