Prerecorded this. Trying to resist urge to pre-order Thor too. If only they broke Loki down into 4 payments like Thor.

He's clearly the best out of the lineup. It's weird that they're flexing him for only 3 payments.
I'm personally just picking up Hawkeye. I already have the first Thor and modded him to be a bit more bulky, so I'm set.

i honestly did not notice clint reading while at the table when i saw it.

Reading a book, foot propped up on BW's chair and chewing on something, either a french fry or his shawarma (though it looked empty).

I actually noticed the leg on my second viewing and the book/chewing on the 3rd viewing lol. Fourth time yesterday I saw all that plus Bruce trying not to laugh while eating.

Again, it's like the best post-credit scene imo. :3

Why'd you have to tell me that there was a Hawkeye figure... >_< Will pre-order and maybe get either Thor or CA as well.

I think the figure is worth it ;-)

...It is. Going to my local comic shop and pre-ordering Hawkeye through them after work.

I basically bought the Oakely Split Jackets due to Hawkeye wearing them (granted it's in the press shots but they're awesome and functional nonetheless and wouldn't trade them for anything). I had a mancrush on Jeremey Renner prior to this movie from his other work... Avengers blew it wide open lol.

As for the other figure, it's either Cappy or Thor...

Was there ever an explanation in this movie as to why Cap used guns pre-freeze but didn't really pack any heat in the Avengers?

Considering there was Iron Man and Hawkeye for shooting shit, having both Cap and Black Widow as more of the hand-to-hand combat fighters made more sense to me. Thor's good both in the air and ground for melee while Hulk is totally his own style.

That Cap doll looks bad. It doesn't even look like Chris Evans, and it's very skinny. Evans wasn't big in Avengers, but he wasn't skinny.

The rest look good though.

Really hope in the sequel they get some other female superhero to replace Black Widow. On a rewatch, it dug in how useless she is and so would like another character to either add to the banter or the power rankings.
Useless as in, did a ton of work?

I don't understand people.

I don't understand people.

Me neither.

And again said:
People seriously think Black Widow was useless in The Avengers? She was probably the most useful person on the team.

- She brings in Banner to join the cause
- She tricks Loki into revealing his plan to unleash Hulk.
- She beats up Hawkeye so he can be captured and brought to his senses.
- Flies the Quinjet and fights alongside Cap and Hawkeye on the ground
- Closes the damn portal, which was like, the whole point of the final battle.

- She tricks Loki into revealing his plan to unleash Hulk.

This scene would have been better had it had any impact on the following events. She doesn't get people away from Hulk and put herself into more danger by going there. It was a neat moment for her, but ultimately totally pointless.

I'm counting it more as "she's so good, she tricked the God of Trickery." So she gets some points for that. At least with me.

It was a very neat moment, I just think it fell flat by not mattering in the slightest. Loki was only there so Hawkeye could track his staff to them. Hawkeye is what ultimately pissed Banner off by nearly blowing him up.

Preordered Hawkeye figure. Didn't bother with installment payments as I can easily afford the figure by then.

And decided on the second figure: the Mark VII. Yay summer lol

- Extended Scene - Banner and Security Guard

There is a scene (I believe when Banner first enters the Helicarrier) where he starts to walk up some steps, sees a guard, and turns and hides his face. It bugged me, because I didn't know why he did that. Perhaps this scene will explain it.

I'm pretty sure this is an extended version of the scene between Ruffalo and Harry Dean Stanton. In an interview, Ruffalo talked about it being longer when it was filmed.

Yeah, that's what it is. There's more dialogue after the "Son, you have a condition" line.
