I just saw that a couple of minutes ago. And loved that everything was a weapon for Coulson while Loki saw the cat as a possible ally.

Awesome news, hopefully it hits 2 billion

I really think 2 billion is out of the question now, barring a total failure of MiB3 next weekend. It would have to almost double what it's done in it's first three weeks.

Total lock for #3 domestic and WW all-time though.

The picture on the left was photoshopped though. In the film, the helmet wasn't metallic at all like in the pic. It was more like a suited mask, which is flimsy and looks like a hood when not being used.
I know, that's my entire point. They know what is wrong with it and will fix it next time around, which seems obvious from the promo shots.

Did I just get done seeing this movie again for the fourth time? Yep

Kinda fitting since I saw it after I left a comic book convention

Too bad I rested my eyes pretty much during the second half

And then there was the dumb parent who brought a kid to see the movie and wouldn't stop making noise (even after they came back a second time)

Will I see the movie in the theater again? .....probably

Yea, it won't make 2B, but the sequel might if handled correctly.

Bottom line, I'm happy that their idea paid off.
I'm going to see MiB, but like Spider-man, I have no preset expectations.

Finally saw it, went in hoping it would be watchable. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be fucking awesome.

.. Horrible Captain America costume aside

His neck shouldn't be showing, was my point. I think the helmet is better in the photo-shoot stuff, but it still needs some tweaks to make it look right. Everything else about the current suit is fine imo.

Fitting the helmet to be flush against the back of his head instead of the outward curve of WW2 version is what makes him look like a pinhead. It's such a small detail but it makes the old suit work.

Saw this today, it was good stuff.

Hulk being the best portrayal by far in the movie, loved it. Now I may need to see the Incredible Hulk. Hope this spawns a future Hulk sequel too. RDJ as always killed as Stark.

I was somewhat surprised at how much screen time Black Widow got. I also feel like a bit of time should have been spent on Loki and what all happened, his appearance felt a bit sudden.

You'll enjoy TIH, just keep your expectations low.

Definitely not, looks goofy as hell if it isn't a side shot. Like a green hornet mask or something. Second one looks the best, but there's still something off about the jawline cut offs and eye holes.

It looks best because of the front shot. Without anything protruding from the sides it looks dildoesque. Ideally it would've been like the WW2 suit with a defined helmet.

I wonder whos job it is to round up all these cars for them to blow up. If you blow it up and the take is wrong you have to pull in a fresh car unless you can work some camera magic. Though I guess you have to make sure everyone is on the ball for the big pyrotechnics.

people usually ARE.
It's not just the costs & time involved, but also the lives.

Though there are occasionally tricks used. Like wrecking a car from one side and then the other for a second semi-quick take.

Nope. Arrow shots ignore kevlar, have a greater penetration factor when used in conjecture with modern day technology(hell medieval arrows could penetrate plate armor). An arrow nails you in the head or torso, you are usually dead. Bullet nails you if not high caliber, you have a chance of surviving.

The arrow penetrates much further typically and causes internal bleeding as well as organ failure. Internal bleeding is much worse than external bleeding.

I tried to explain this in another thread but no one listened to me :( But yes, the survivability of low-caliber rounds is relatively high. High-powered rifles are another story though.

I'm really curious to see what they're going to do with Superman's suit. They're doing a lot of CG for Zod's outfit and I could see them accenting Superman's suit in a similar manner. I just hope it doesn't look as ridiculous or bad as Green Lantern.

The weird extraneous lines, bizarre texture, and muted colors on that Superman suit are not working for me at all.

And it seriously needs some sort of color separation around the middle. That's what the briefs were great at, but if you're gonna lose the briefs at least give him a red belt or something. It's this solid wall of blue right now and it looks silly.

Or maybe we just think its an ugly costume, because we have eyes and have looked at it.
You guys have bad taste then, because that suit is amazing.

Really, I didn't know it was that good until I searched it up after your post. They really knocked it out of the park with the design.

A+

The new Superman suit itself is fine. What did you expect, the same old shit? I just don't really like the S logo much, looks devilish or something. It'll all look great on-screen, I think.
