The Giant Bomb Quick Look Thread 2

Thought it was odd about Patrick feeling bad about the developers.

Fuck the developers, how about the kid who sees the movie and gets excited and buys this terrible, short game?

That MIB game looks literally like PC games looked in 2003.

EDIT: And I think that's the same stock alarm sound effect as Goldeneye...? I have heard it a lot in some game.

I enjoyed how it auto targeted and enemies regained life when you werent shooting them so Ryan couldn't focus fire on one dude because the game decided he wanted to shoot everyone once and do absolutely no damage.
Well I'm pretty sure that ground wave attack Ryan refused to use was better for clearing out groups than the regular wand attack, but Ryan likes to play things like if they were shooters.

Does it feature a Will Smith song?
Nope. Nor a Pitbull song.

I know. Feel bad for the kid or the mom that spends 60 DOLLARS on that trash because the movie is out, not the developers who got money for making that trash.

I blame Activision more than anyone. Clearly they could've made this a budget title but decided they could milk the movie release by going 60. Who knows how much time the devs were given to make this, I'm guessing not much.

Disgusting. Like, actively revolting. Feel bad for the publisher being happy with this sort of quality, bad for the developers to have to spend time making this soulless piece of shit, bad for the clueless consumers stupid enough to get baited into buying this.

Feel bad video of the day.

Boo, sir. Boo.
I'll give you Shinobi but the rest was pretty much garbage.

Not enough nostalgia in the world to love this collection.

Oh man... That MIB game is rough. Geez.

I actually sort of trembled from the first thing out of Jeff's mouth in the quick look. Hated that movie... haha

Monster World IV gets fucking awesome pretty much straight after where they left off. So good. Shame they showed the boring bits (mind you, they took long enough).

Some people like it, some people don't. Personally I think it's pretty crappy from top to bottom. The only thing good about it is the soundtrack.
It's the second-best feature length Daft Punk soundtrack video I've seen!

Also, it looks nice and has great production values, which when applied to game reviewer's scales would be like a guaranteed 88%-90% rating.

Garbage lead and completely awful story that abandons most of the things I liked about the original.

Disclaimer: I think the original reaaaaaaaaaally sucks. I realise being born a decade after a special effects heavy film came out probably doesn't give one a good perspective on it, but it's boring as shit. In that regard, I found Legacy to be pretty god damn faithful in spots, haha.

Hedlund blew, agreed. Good thing Bridges and Wilde did a fair job of picking up the slack. I saw that film for some cool 3D visuals and the soundtrack, and it delivered in spades on that front, so as per my expectations I'm fond of it.

I am sad that I couldn't get through the Alien Crisis QL. Usually bad-game QLs are uniquely entertaining, but boredom levels reached unbearable heights on this one.
