I like the fact that the SmartGlass stuff can be used on existing hardware. Could have some interesting uses in sports games etc.

Edit: and the browser means it'll be much easier to watch porn on my tv. Bonus.

Yeah they all looked like XBLA games and none of them looked exciting. I realised half way through that Black Ops was going to be their 'big finale'. Microsoft still think Call of Duty is a big deal to the people watching. If anything it turned out to be a negative.

Yeah they made it really dumb. At least it fits a game like call of duty and uncharted to have dumb over the top stuff, it just looks terrible out of place here in splinter cell. It's a shame. Same goes for resident evil, they all lost their identity and now it's just press A for awesome all the time.

No I understand completely and I feel many of the same things you do. Chaos Theory is still the daddy, and Conviction was still disappointing. No matter how cynically I approach it though when I see Fisher running through a camp shooting shit like a boss I get excited, even if it does eventually turn into spot and mark drivel.

I just hope the encounters are wider, and with the ability to silently take everyone out. In Conviction you could, but it really felt like the game was designed in the opposite way; I'd like them to swing that back a bit.

Regardless of how it may turn out, it makes for an exciting demo, unlike most of the stuff shown during the conference. Oh and Spy versus Merc is back, although probably neutered.

I don't think there is a high profile Striker, CB or DM on the market (and many that aren't) that hasn't been "linked" to City thus far. I'd imagine most of the rumors are utter bullshit, but I'd love to get Javi Martinez in the fold to start the ball rolling.

Haha. I still think he can be good -- he just needs to go on loan for at least a year. It was an utter shambles when he was on the pitch.. painful memories.

It's been happening since last year! Supposedly they were trying to emulate the Premier League in order to give our football more exposure internationally... except that they are doing nothing to make Mexico's league more interesting in any way whatsoever.

Also this is some 2.0 type of bullshit. Also, Second Division is Ascenso MX. Fuck.
 
You guys seen Dead Space 3? E3 is like a competition to see who can take their franchise furthest in the wrong direction.

Today has been such a bad day for gaming so far. Dead Space 3 looks as bad as Resident Evil 6. Everything is going the same way, wants to play the same. Less thinking, more PRESS A FOR AWESOME
 
Dead space has always been a shitty action game with shitty horror elements. Looked like lost planet, lol, silent protagonist certainly worked better for them than a co op game with two guys cracking jokes with dumb one liners. But it's Visceral games, just look at the name of the studio, do you expect anything less? Their simpsons game is still the best they have done.

No. No they did not. Dead Space has always been built around tension. That demo was anything but tense.
