This is creepy, but since I am not attending it or having any kind of interest, the only thing I can do and feel is to cringe.

If they are happy and stuff.

im sorry that you are asking for her name then
my condolences
Well you didn't give me her name, so...

I think most furries are aware that their hobby would probably raise eyebrows from the average person. What's important is that even if you think the hobby itself is creepy, you shouldn't automatically think badly of the person who's engaged in it. NaughtyCalibur's anecdote shows that people with creepy hobbies or weird tastes can be good people, just as people with normal lives can be assholes and jerks.

I'm not gonna make fun of their relatively innocuous perversion, but christ it must be ripe in there.

I always figured furry conventions smell the worst but maybe the suits keep the stench in?

I think the reason furrys get ranked below the anime weirdos and such is because they are just as socially awkward but also rely on hiding behind a fursona to feel normal which adds an extra layer of wtf.

Using FurryGAF as a sample base I would say that your idea of furries has little basis in reality.

I won't disagree with you about anime fans though.

I don't think judging by online posts gives an accurate impression of someone in the real world. Posting online offers the same kind of anonymity that hiding in a due suit allows.

Of the furries I've come across while not in a costume they've been social rejects and while every group has their normal and strange people the furriy population in general lacks in normality.

IDK man, I'm into some weird shit, too. But I think I cross the line at dressing as furry human-like animals. Gotta draw the line somewhere

But hey, whatever gets your rocks off, man. Free country and all dat shit. Forefathers died so you could attend Furry Fun Fairs in peace.

Well no that's not what I meant. I was referring to the few times they talk about their real lives, which doesn't seem out of the ordinary.

Only one or two people seem like they have social anxiety issues.

I've been watching through the related links from some of these videos and they're actually kind of great.

It makes me want to go to one of these. Seriously. Though, you need a fursuit, right? I guess I'd need to make one.... and that's just waaaay too much work.

Is it really that far from being a professional Mascot, though? I was a Mascot in HS, and it was a lot of fun. Or like, wearing a costume as a theme park mascot?

The fuck is wrong with anime fans Haly?
Meet me mid.

Those are really well made unlike the others posted. Not bad.

Hate to be that guy, but name?

oh. um. well i...i sort of wish I didn't just google search the pic. I didn't know who it was before. I disavow all knowledge, and my lawyers inform me that I am under no obligation to divulge that information.

she's...Vanessa Hudgen's kid sister, Stella

I'd storm this con with the furry of a thousand gods.
Most likely dressed as a chimera so I can get the bitches, lizardettes, and birdies attention.

Kidding of course. This conversation never happened.

Ok to be perfectly honest I really have no experience with fur enthusiasts at all, but I am curious - apart from, well...talking to the person, is there some way you identify if someone is male or female underneath the suit?

I ask because although some suits make the distinction, quite a few other suits I've seen don't really show any particular bias towards one gender or the other at least to my eye. The video posted earlier of the girl putting on her Corgi suit is a perfect example.

Perhaps that may explain what makes its appealing to bisexuals as well since there's no gender bias, or at least not as much of one.

Silly Yugi, you posted those creepy anime cosplayers that took it to another level (I forgot the term, but it's essentially beyond dressing up).

Anyway, being furry doesn't imply you're into fursuits.

She's not creepy, how dare you you big musclebound bully.

Minerva is a classy lady that probably wouldn't answer to the woo's of some big muscled wolf guy.

It's like a convention for mascots without teams.

Surprised CHEEZMO hasn't arrived yet.

He fell asleep just before the thread was posted.

Trust me, he was the first person I looked for when I saw this thread go up.

We need more people posting that AD clip by the way. It was hilariawesome the first time, the third and fourth times are even better!
