I would say no, but then I remembered the Abyss 3DS port.
But Yoshito Higuchi worked on Symphonia, Abyss and Vesperia.
I say Tales characters have a bigger chance of appearing.

I just remembered how nice Tales of VS was. Needs a part 2 with some crossover characters by the by.
With all this assistance that Sora is getting on this project this could be the game that satisfies everyone.

You are the first person on GAF that has said something positive about Tales of VS.
That doesn't matter. Look at all those people on the game, no way Sakurai would allow for that many different 3rd Party characters.
Now Lloyd or and Abyss character as an Assist or just generic trophy to earn? Possible, giving one of them the slot of Kos-Mos which would still benefit Namco as it's theirs (Namco's), but also support Monolith Soft and share a character that is more well known?
Kos-Mos, or Pac-Man are the two real choices as far as front runners go.

Brawl had really great affects and characters models for a Wii game even now.

Brawl and Melee had returning characters as unlockable ones. So I don't see why it would be a surprise if Falco was an unlockable character.
I'm sure most of us expect Falco to be in one way or another. He is pretty much number two to Fox anyway.
So regardless it servered as a good joke/intro into the segment.

There is going to be DLC, and lots of it. Hopefully Namcai Bando will sponsor some Smash tournaments.
Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing since I didn't like it either. Tales of VS had the potential to be something really awesome but they pretty much just copied and pasted characters and hoped for the best. If anyone's ever played the Tales fan fighting games, those things are really fun. CC system + a fighter would be some interesting stuff
