EVO 2012 Thread 2 Because one thread wasnt enough to hold all the hype and the salt

Other stages have random shit flying around, and random shit in your line of site. Very distracting. I don't know how many stages actually lag, but Marvels particle effects always feel like the games being unstable. Technically it's not very good, but the games good enough for people to look past that.

I'm interested to see SFxT today. I really haven't seen any high level play of the game and it's kind of important since it's the only major game other than SF4 on PC.

Can anyone tell me the name of the player who used to do weird hand movements during tournaments, for the life of me, I can't remember his name, and what happened to him?

THE CHAMP. Viscant who won Evo last year. he did a bad assist call that cost him the game.

He's out.

Edit: If you mean Juicebox, he got top 32 in AE.

This was funny as shit. Mago giving no fucks.

LOL. Noah is good stuff, but he overused psycho crusher trying to escape and it left him within range to have it punished by Fei long's quick stuff that had low start up. He just kept using it from too far out leaving the end too close to punishes. If he hadn't have done this he may have had closer matches. Kid has sick footsies though...he may have just been getting blocked on legitimate attempts to crusher punish what he thought was gonna be Mago pressing buttons.

It was Juicebox. He had a dance for Abel's grab hyper and for Juri's hyper where she looks at her hand. He went all in on KoF and has one of the more fun streams to watch. He'll even do nights where you can send match links and he'll do running commentary on the matches sent to describe the stuff happening in a technical sense. Really tight player and a hilarious guy as an announcer.

Juicebox Abel? I believe he's playing KOF primarily now and seems to be doing more commentary.

Sadly, Capcom suits seem as if they want to take advantage of the fact that there is an enthusiastic robust fan community for these games... but they don't want to invest in supporting said community very much. The game producers themselves want to support it, that is pretty clear at this point.

I think the nature of the Capcom panel at Evo says a lot about the disconnect between Capcom and the community. It's pretty concerning for the long term since the FGC can only go so far without support from Capcom that goes beyond "hey we made this new thing so you should give us your money." Unless non-Capcom games become headliners, I guess, but I don't see that happening for a while.

In some ways, Netherrealm and WB have supported the community better, even though they still get a lot of flak. Though I guess WB can afford those things much easier than Capcom can.

Streaming party. We are ready.

This is indeed the problem- Capcom has no problem throwing away money on promoting SFxT, but refuses to actually support a successful title.

No. The problem is more that the team has been split up and they're working on other games. This isn't some conspiracy.

what does "mame" mean in japanese?

also, all these "best spiderman in the world" claims need to go back and watch UFGT8 to see a Spidy that puts in work
