So it is based on not letting Dark Phoenix come out? What if she is out? D. Phoenix blows up assists. No Doom is a huge disadvantage.

The best Phoenix strategies are always the ones that involve denying her the meter. Even if she gets dp she can't do anything when astral vision is up. Missiles restrict her movement and she can't kill assists with out meter or taking risks. Chris can rush Phoenix down with astral vision backed up by missiles. Oh and then he has 1 frame gimlet dhc to snipe Phoenix.

Its the opposite. Its so hard to land clean hits on Morrigan backed up by missiles that its hard to build the 5 bars. Morrigan also has tac tech and meter stealing fireballs that make life miserable for a Phoenix player. If fchamp faces off against chrisg he well switch her for dorm and Chris will counter that with hawkeye.

Not to mention the fact that a single fireball touch can easily chain into 4 fireball hits. It's automatic death for Phoenix if Morrigan XF cancels into any level of X-factor on a clean Astral volley of soul fists.
