Can anyone explain why the match was reset? I don't fully understand.

In double elimination you have to lose twice to be out. Cervantes player hadn't lost yet. Tira player had lost once. So the Tira player has to give the Cervantes player 2 losses to eliminate him. The first win is called a bracket reset, which puts them on even ground.

SCV is the new Namco fighter this year, and there's only so many spots for EVO so they went with that. Next year it's sure to be Tekken Tag Tournament 2 after it's console release this September.

Huh, weird. So a person who loses once, can then win Losers Bracket and then compete in the Finals? But then they're at a disadvantage in the Finals, because they have to win twice?

Wish the commentators were explaining this.

Basically look it like this. The tournament is a double elimination tournament.

So in order for you to win the tournament everyone that enter the tournament must lose a set at least twice.

Going into the finals.

Shining Decopon has already lost a set. Shen Chan has lost 0 sets. In the finals Shining Decopon beat Shen Chan in the first set.

So at this point they both have lost one time. So basically the next one to lose a set lose the tournament.
