EVO 2012 Thread 2 Because one thread wasnt enough to hold all the hype and the salt

Very stupid question, but is salt a general term used? I have not heard it used for any other competitions, so I'm guessing it's exclusive to fighters right now.
 
So glad I didn't head to sleep yet, I dunno when when's the next time I'll get a good laugh like this.

I'll be honest, this year's AE was better than last years. Those Raging Demon reads >>>> Anything and everything Latif or Fuudo or whoever did last year. Last year was famous mainly because of Poongko theatrics. This year wasn't as energetic & lacked pop offs, but actual competitive game-play wise, it destroyed last year.

Awesome evo weekend. I had fun.

Sanford Kelly is a fighting game player. I guess he wasn't at EVO this year. He's been around for quite a while though. He was a pretty prominent MVC2 player if I recall, and he played/plays SF4

You could classify him as a "heel," and some of his more memorable moments involve him getting mad IMO (he did throw his stick once). He railed against MVC3 Vanilla when it came out.

edit: Sanford is currently with EMP I guess, and I think they're looking to raise money to either pay for his passport or their twitch.tv account? $90 for 1 minute of skype time!!!!

No you may have misunderstood me. The SF4 finals didn't take long to finish off in terms of time. As such, I would rather they were played this year at the end of Friday, whilst everybody was still in SF4 mode and the hype was at it's highest level.

The two day break and all that happened before today killed all the hype of Friday for me. I also think the level of play would have been higher if it was finished on the day.

KOF and Marvel, which take a long time and hence can build the hype up again, could stay on the Sunday.
 
Ideally it was up to me I would move evo to a convention hall, make it a 4 day event NOT on a holiday weekend and put these games up for sure for the main lineup

1) AE2012
2) Marvel
3) KOF
4) MK9/Injustice (whatever their community supports)
5) TTT2
6) Persona 4 Arena (supporting this game so hard)
7) DOA/Skullgirls/VF (leaning toward DOA since they already have their establish community freestepdodge and VF is too small in America)

Done

I got capcom fighters, 3d fighter, anime fighter, american fighter, and all games that have big scenes.

i would be subtle. banning a random dude with a random variable. if a dude has an X at the end. a 5 in the name. 1st dude i see with the vowel A in his name.
