Is there going to be a CC live episode today?
Woah this argument over Fatalities got a bit too serious.
Marn probably doesnt have money anymore.
Did Spooky appeared at all during the EVO week-end?
If you're in SoCal and are picking up VF5, this should interest you.
LA Akira's giving $50 to the highest-placing new player at WNF. Also, eligible players will get $10 for every game they win against him.
I think this is a great idea.
Wolfkrone quit Team MRN? What happened?
This entire discussion is what's wrong with the fighting game community. That and some of the stream monsters.
Are you the same RoninChaos from the SRK forums?

Easily my favorite shot of Marvel top 8.
Just when Combo might've though he had a chance since he took out Doom, those missiles are still coming.
What game journos were following this tournament closely?
Gamespot had a lot of coverage. Other sites no clue.
I mean individuals.
Who put MadKOF in losers?
What game journos were following this tournament closely?
People are asking what happening at SCR: Blood was coming from every hole in my body except my eyes. ;/
So that's what all the "RIP Marn" was about?
Man, that's pretty harsh.
Yes. He still owes me money and drinks.
Fatalities and looking up the moves were fine. Quit complaining as it was done in good fun.
RIP Marn started at UFGT last year I think?
Anyway it got us this so http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lp9mW0ljZS4
I would consider the often theft in events, the bashing of other games, the perception (for lack of a better word) of gender inequality and division, and players not going to their local scenes as all bigger issues than that to be honest.
My biggest issue is the amount of hate their is, and how much influence stream monsters can have. The first issue can be fixed, the second... yeah that is here to stay as long as the internet is involved.
fatalities are killing esports
poongko's expression is pretty funny.
It's really not. All these crazy ideas that people have about what a player should be doing, etc is ridiculous. Top players for YEARS have jumped onto different games and learned various pieces of the games to win, they don't need to memorize completely useless shit to win, and the suggestion that they do, or whatever is going on in this thread lately is flat out fucking ridiculous. And this distinction and idea that's being perpetuated is being done by a group of people who will most likely suck the community dry, and then move onto the next thing.
I've been a part of organizing tournaments for 14 years and I really dislike where the community is going. But that's a discussion for another time and one that I doubt 90% of the people on this thread would be receptive to.
And yet you keep going. All of those things you listed are problems. There are a ton of issues in the fighting game community, but it's still one of the best communities around. But that isn't going to continue much longer. It's going down hill now by catering to a group of people that really have no interest in the scene and treat it like wrestling.
And yet you keep going.
Do you know a guy named Denis Dyack? I think you and him would get along fine.
For example. What exactly was the point of even saying this? To flex your peen about how much you've done? The community isn't about one person it's about people coming together. Sure one person could start an event, but then it's up to everyone else to show up and keep coming and make it a living breathing thing.Did I offend you, princess? You already sound like you're part of the problem. So what have you done for the community? Let's start comparing resumes.
