He was on the board of a company Bain had invested in and came to MA for business trips related to that.
He needs to just stop talking.

Yeah, it seems like a lot of pro-lifers are one-issue voters. If you had two pro-choice candidates on each tickets (recall Romney's own history on abortion), that would probably keep a lot of them from turning out.I'd agree with that for most issues, but abortion is the one where I think the base would completely draw the line. It's not like they would stop voting for Mitt en mass, but it would be enough lost votes to ensure he has no shot of winning. There's just absolutely no reason for them to consider a pro-choice VP when they have viable pro-life candidates.
It's either going to be Portman or Ayotte. Most likely Portman with how vital Ohio is to Mitt.
But the fact is they still have the biggest draw of all for those voters: Obama. I also think the Congressional races will keep them at the polls too. While there are viable prolife candidates, Rice does have cross over appeal. Just look at her ratings among African Americans, it's on her wiki page, it was higher than most Republians can ever hope to get. lolI'd agree with that for most issues, but abortion is the one where I think the base would completely draw the line. Can someone explain Rubos appeal, it's a name I hear often, but really nothing in memory.
Appeal to Hispanic voters.
Appeal to Cuban voters, much different
#RomneySurpriseVPGuesses Can it be a corporation? They are people too you know!
#RomneysurpriseVPguesses Whoever was running Bain Capital from 1999-2001.
The ultimate in ticket balancing: Mitt Romney from 2006 RT @TheStalwart: Alright, let's play. #RomneysurpriseVPguesses
If it annoys them that much I might vote for Romney if he picked here. LolVP Pick I will say my odds are:
80% Rob Portman
19% Tim Pawlenty
1% Paul Ryan

No, comedy option is Paul or Cain. Bachman is just Rick Santourm with breasts.Comedy option: Bachmann.

What did he say that was racist yesterday?
Are they? From what I've seen, it just leads to someone shouting "race card."
I'd go with this also. It would be hilarious to see Paul Ryan get the nom, though.VP Pick I will say my odds are:

No, the last two are more fucking annoying more than anything, especially Santorum.Comedy option's any of those four, really
In this instance, I don't see why not.
Yeah. Transitioning to the center is usually prudent. But on an issue as fundamental as abortion, that would entail substantial risk. I would not antagonize the base for a decision typically of scant consequence.I'd agree with that for most issues, but abortion is the one where I think the base would completely draw the line. Yeah. With Obama (finally) supporting marriage equality, I'd love to hear man-on-dog's response. Plus, the vitriolic nonsense he'd vomit would only harm his cause.Comedy option's any of those four, really
As would I. We only afforded Republicans eight years to fix the country. I think they deserve another term.I'd probably vote for Romney/Rice ticket

At least he tries, the effort can still be appreciated. If one of the candidates somehow did an add in Hebrew, though Yiddish would be cooler, I'd be impressed.Lysol wipes
also, here's another ad of Romney's son reading Spanish competently off a teleprompter. I truly don't understand why they make these though. It has about as much resonance with Latinos as if Obama had one of his daughters speak English in an ad. Also, Romney tries to speak Spanish at the end of the vid. It sounds like an American trying to speak Spanish with a ridiculous French accent.

You haven't seen it? Someone link this man.
Correct, but this case should be a little different since Romney's got more visibility and is taking part in something bigger.
I guess not. I did watch his whole NAACP speech though. Said this morning, it was surprisingly not awful and I was most surprised that he got so much applause. I guess that speech buried his racist comments?

It was later that day at a fundraiser. It wasn't necessarily racist. He just implied that if "they" (while talking about the NAACP booing incident) want more free things from the government, then they should vote for Obama.
Because I wouldn't expect a candidate to try and get the Jewish vote that way, and unlike say Spanish, it's not something most people could pick up in High School or College. I'd be impressed that they put the effort in.Why?
Wait, was that NCAA thing really a dog whistle? Usually when I think of such things, it's more vague like "states rights". If this was a dog whistle, it was definitely at a higher frequency, since Romney specifically referred to black people wanting free stuff from the government.
I thought "they" was the NAACP. Sounded like a lot of boos in that room.He didn't say black people, otherwise you'd be right. He said "they" and also something like "the people who like Obamacare."
"If you want free money, vote for the other guy. Or be CEO of Bain Capital."
Post of the year."If you want free money, vote for the other guy. Or be CEO of Bain Capital."
Or work for WCW at certain points when it existed. lol"If you want free money, vote for the other guy. Or be CEO of Bain Capital."

Well unless it turned out like Wesly Clark's appeal to the youth ad talking about Outkast...yes it exist, I highly suggest finding it.
Well with Yiddish is hard now since it's no really spoken anymore, my point was it was a language you wouldn't already have a head start on commonly from regular schooling.????
The only extra obstacle is a different alphabet. Learning Hebrew is otherwise just like learning other language.
It's still subject-verb-object like any western language, and it isn't based around logograph/ideographs that make learning something like Chinese or Japanese a nightmare for naive speakers of latin-derived languages.
