The more I think about it, the more I really like the movie. Probably going to re-watch it again on Sunday.

Whenever Alfred cried, I got misty-eyed. That scene at the grave...goddammit Nolan. Too many emotions.

I wondered about that too. I'd like to think that since he's the freaking Batman, and he was able to secretly buy back his company in BB, that he'd have some of his wealth stashed in other countries.

'.... since his cries echoed through these halls....'
:/

that scene popped back in my head as bruce's funeral and i teared up. :(.

Might be a stupid question but how the hell did Bane know that Bruce was Batman (called him as Mr. Wayne) when they first fought in the underground areas?

I'm guessing Miranda knew from the start that Bruce was Batman and told Bane about it?

edit:

Lastly, how the hell did Bane know where Bruce's armory was?

Presumably his League of Shadows connections let him figure it out. Or he (as a crazy intelligent super villain) put the fairly simple two and two together that almost no one in Gotham has managed to do up till now (except for JGL and accountant guy from the last movie).

I liked the Bane death. Absolutely the most surprising and rewarding way for Selina to return. And for Bane, it was just a great final FUCK OFF / NOPE moment after 5 months of pure hell he put the city through. Plus, Batman already defeated him one on one in grand fashion, can't just have him do it again.

I wish Bruce had had more of an arc in this movie. I mean it was mostly just "I guess I should do a bunch of push ups before I go fight Bane."

When Bane raised Batman over his head everyone in the audience was like "Holy shit they're doing iiiiiiiiittttttttttttt"!. I love midnight launches. Great audience for this and Avengers.

Cause he can punch through a fucking concrete! Man of Steel, baby!

Perhaps a shot of Gordon standing over a grave marker that read "BANE", and him saying "Well I'm glad that sonuva bitch is dead. I was trying to fight the mob!" would be clear enough.

My audience was very quiet throughout the movie except for a few small sequences and Robin reveal. Sometimes I love a crazy crowd; other times I love a more focused crowd. Today I enjoyed the focus crowd.

You are the new king of this thread.

I hereby present you the keys to the Batcave.

Applaud moments I could recall were...

Selena taking Bruce's car
Batman's return and escape in the Bat
"So that's what that feels like..."
Gordon kills guys in the hospital
Bruce "rises"
Selena kills Bane
Robin reveal
Alfred sees Bruce
End

i'm assuming dagget or daggart (however it's said) had SOME kind of connections being on the board.

Already saw Sculli's impressions, and I know DM and Solo haven't seen it yet, but I'm curious about Speeding, Dead, and Yamato's thoughts. Any of you guys post reviews that I missed?

Mine are about 3-4 pages back in the non spoiler thread, can't grab it on my phone right now.
