The non IMAX scenes were distinctly rougher. May have been because Nolan shot so many dialogue scenes intercut with IMAX that the transitions were more jarring than TDK.It's weird I did not care for my IMAX experience. The screen was too close, the theater was too small and the sound was too damn loud. And the non-IMAX scenes looked like ass.

Loved the scene when Bane beat the shit out of Batman and broke his back. Overall the fact that the plot was an inferior version of Arkham City was kind of silly.
I wonder if Talias death will be as groan worthy on my 2nd viewing. That was just bad.

The only time I've ever had a problem with it is the detonator scene in this movie. I think that may also be because it's so obvious Bane doesn't have the detonator, so it just makes Batman seem even dumber.I also don't get the hate for the batvoice. Or rather at moments where he's yelling. I think when he's all SWEAR TO ME WHERE ARE THEY WHERE IS THE DETONATOR is the best use of it. I think it is at its worst when he's trying to reign it in. When he's growling I think its fierce and powerful.

Only thing that bothered me was the shake before death. People laughed at that at the midnight screening. It was good enough for the life to leak out of her, she had to practically vomit out her last moments.I made sure to focus on that scene as well because of gafs distaste for it. I thought it was fine though. It looked like she had a bunch of broken bones and internal bleeding. She was shaking a bit then died. It didn't seem odd or badly acted to me at all really.
The only problem I have with it.. is the Joker fight in TDK during the climax.
Doing the voice while hurt/injured.. just made it come off odd sounding.
Yeah, I for one am glad that WB isnt releasing numbers until Monday.Looks like the shooting is hurting TDKR and other movies. TDKR is soft today, and Ted and Spider-Man suffered huge ass losses compared to last Friday.
Spider-Man was down 70%, and Ted was down nearly 60% after having great legs every day up til now.
Not that this stuff matters after what those people suffered.
Out of all the trilogy, that moment is where the Bat voice is at its absolute worst. The only problem I have with it.. is the Joker fight in TDK during the climax.

I would love to watch a "Ra's al ghul Begins" movie.
And Nolan should do a "The Dark Knight Returns" version in 10 years.
First Bane vs Batman fight without sound was amazing, I think the entire audienced holded his breath the entire fight.
I am sorry, but did Thalia know that Bruce was Batman?

Just saw this pretty dumb of me not to remember talia being rhas daughter from arkham city lol so i was genuinely surprised haha.
Yea, he dislocated shit, really. Nothing more. Only people who know of the Bane comics would think he straight broke it entirely.Pretty sure Bane didn't break Bruce's back. He certainly fucked him up and probably fractured a vertebrae or two, but complete breaks? Nope.
They can totally set up a batman beyond film from this, no?

I thought it was silly when Batman was still doing the Batvoice when talking to Catwoman on the batcycle. I was expecting her to say, "Drop the voice, Bruce"
RISEThis was the Rocky IV of Batman movies.
It will be infinitely watchable.
during some scenes it was so quiet I was afraid to move my popcorn bag
It was weird seeing quinn from Dexter in this movie lol

So I just finished watching the movie. A bit disappointing. I have some questions:
-How does Batman survive? (I groaned the moment I saw Bruce was still alive. It would've been a great way for him to go out)
-Did Bane die? You only see him get shot off of Batman's body. After that there's no sign of him.
-Why do Bane and Talias hate Gotham City so much? I recall they wanted to destroy it to restore balance. I don't get it.
I miss the Joker. That's what really made The Dark Knight for me.![]()

Nah man, when he's with Flask in the rain in Begins is when its the worst.Out of all the trilogy, that moment is where the Bat voice is at its absolute worst.
Well kill Batman then, not half a city. The wanted revenge for Bruce killing her father, so they decided to come back to do what he died trying.
