No but you're generalizing against 1 billion women, based on your own presumptions.
I said "often". Is it something that "never" happens? My bad.

Lol are you serious or joking?
If THIS is something that brings more hostility towards the Muslim world then people need to get their shit together.
I doubt even a thousand women compete in Judo back in the S.A.
I'm not even sure a hundred women are.
Lemme google it.
Next time, put more thought into your posts.Oh, is it all just a rumor?
Sorry, wasn't aware I was writing a wiki by posting here.
Oh wow, so she's gonna be allowed to participate, huh? What time is this match going down on Friday?

I hope she wins.
I'm sorry, but that constitutes as base generalization as well.Still waiting for someone to point out exactly what is wrong with what I said. Someone else accused me of generalizing. But I didn't say "always" or even "usually." I said "often." I think that entails sufficient leeway. If not, explain.

Why did Barrico get banned exactly?
I hope she wins.
I hope it's quick and painless for her...the other athlete looks like a monster...literally.
I hope she wins.
She's a blue belt going up against a black belt that has been placing high in international comp for years. She's gonna get rag dolled.
When's her fight?
Either mantidor is completely wrong or the website is completely wrong. Hmmm who to trust.aw, wtf? we missed this go down?![]()

She took a hi jab to the face and it was over.
She is up in about 7 minutes
With her hijab?
Aw darn, I missed it. Was this on TV or are you guys watching online or something?
I missed it how quick was it?
Under 2 minutes from getting on the mat to leaving.
Seeing what she wore, it makes sense as to how the officials and she came to a compromise; there is nothing questionable about her attire there.

That was an Ippon point. Just one if those is all you need to win a Judo match. She didn't submit, afaik. It wasn't even a sports hijab, it looked like, uhm...a skully/doo-rag thing I've seen in American sports.
And, she got thrown once and the match was over. So quick. I think she gave up?
I have no idea, there was literally one throw.
*edit*
OK, she got thrown and then submitted.
She's a horrible athlete.
I don't think it's really fair to be sensationalistic if you don't understand how Judo works...
She wasn't likely to get more injured than your standard athlete and she wasn't likely to get tortured for five minutes. A great judoka vs. a terrible judoka (assuming same weight class) usually means fast ippon.
Anyway, I think Saudi Arabia put her in a position to fail. It's possible that they just don't have good female athletes because of social norms there, but it's also entirely convenient that they don't think women should be in sports and her getting demolished kinda proves their point.
What you say is completely inaccurate. Gyms and exercise facilities are widely available for women to use in all the major cities in Saudi Arabia.
Our athletic development is just not a focus for the country right now, which is unfortunate.

I was hoping she'd do well, but I'm glad she got the opportunity to feature regardless.
