DJMAX Technika tune (Vita) Features music from KARA.

Realistically, I don't think the reduction from four lanes to three is going to impact songs as much as one would assume. Most charts from the arcade versions barely utilize all four lanes at once (though, when they do, it's a bit crazy--I think I remember seeing one that had four simultaneous hold notes). Now, whether or not Pentavision wants to directly port existing song charts over without reducing their note count is another story.

TUNE seems to be shaping up nicely, but I'm kind of disappointed that I don't see any mission mode/crew challenge stuff. Also, why on earth does it take so long to load song previews in the menu selection? It's horrible! It's as slow as loading off a UMD. The thrill and impact of quickly cycling through songs is really important to some people, especially those of us who grew up with games like DDR and are used to a snappy, high-energy presentation.

In the menu & options video, when they choose arcade mode, there are Free Style, Star Mixing, Pop Mixing and Club Mixing modes, maybe the missions and crew stuff are inside the last one, Club Mixing

Edit: Ok, there is no crew stuff, just read the youtube description, lame

Part of me really wants it because it's DJMAX, but then the practical me says I hardly even notice my DJMAX Portable 3 LE so why bother. The screen cleaner and soft pouch are pretty awesome though...

I love the DJ MAX LE sets! Don't think I'll be getting this one though, it's just not something I really need...or want. Although that screen cleaner and soft pouch would be nifty. I wish the songlist had more 3rd Coast -_- Guess there's always DLC for that though so I'm gonna hold off for the US version of the game.

Is there a solid western release date? ._. I want more music rhythm games on my Vita.

Not yet.
The only bone we've been thrown was a partial LE item list which was shortly thereafter reneged. Still in wait and see mode for most NA release details. At the very least, there will be a standard and limited edition.

i think we can safely say everything will be there minus the bug music coupon thing? everything else is doable. idk about the book. should just leave it as is. hope it's filled with HQ art ;3

Very slick overall visual design of this game and the logos, etc. Equally as slick Limited Edition.

I liked a lot of the music in the PSP games but did not like the gameplay and button config at all. Hopefully this version's touch gameplay is more accessible and entertaining.

So according to Siliconera, Japan is getting its own LE Bundle that is way worse.

The DJMax Technika Tune package includes the PlayStation Vita game, 72 songs split on two CDs, an art book, and a cleaning strap in an oversized box. DJMax Technika Tune will retail for 6,090 yen ($78) while the limited edition clocks in at 8,190 yen ($105).

Talk about a downgrade. I really hope the NA one is more like the Korean version.

^Nice!

I was getting prepared to be pissed at the person who bumped this unless there was a good reason, haha. Totally delivered. <3

Our silence as of late is not as a result of many of the things you guys have been speculating. We're just hammering out details with the release and trying to have everything set in stone before we announce everything. We'll be making the remaining announcements in the very near future.

I'll bet they plan to release the game during the period the rest of vita games are out. just give me the deets on the CE nao.

This is about US. idk how i'll budget honestly lol.

Ungh, can´t wait, that new Never Say BGM is pretty good.

I´ve just preordered the regular japanese version in Play Asia, i´m tired of waiting for the Korean one.

Play Asia is a huge fucking disgrace

They're giving me so much trouble with my order e.e

Live in Japan, definitely want the Japanese version for future DLC etc. but damnnnn man that Korean LE is so much better... and cheaper...

Really want the NA version to get a release date soon.
I wasn't a big fan of DJ MAX fever (Really didnt find any songs catchy)
But i'll jump into this.

Also how as DJ MAX Portable 3?

Portable 3 is okay. I found it frustrating because they took out 8Button mode and there was a severe lack of challenging songs. This was a problem because you need to grind a lot for experience to level up and unlock new songs, which sucks when I'm not having fun playing any of them. It's more of a problem for people who are really good at the game though.

The game is definitely worth checking out though. I don't regret buying it at all.
