Nearly there.

That could be a very good team.

I want Dortmund and Juventus to draw the same Champions League group.

FootballGAF's good guys going head to head. Wouldn't like to pick sides in that one.

We'll know by the end of Friday. Moutinho was the player he wanted.

If you add Moutinho to that team then it's as good a starting 11 as the Premier League has, in my opinion. I'd take that back 5 over Chelsea's, and I'd take Sandro and Dembele over Mikel and Lampard too.

For me personally, Adebayor isn't a good enough striker to make a charge for the title in the long run. He's good and scores goals, but compared to RvP/Rooney, Aguero/Tevez, and (LOLOLOL) an on form Torres, he's lacking. Fits with the team though but I'm surprised AVB still went after him when Harry went.

Falcao needs to move somewhere he's going to be seen every week as well. Has it in him to be one of the very best strikers of the modern era but no fucker in mainstream media will give a shit if he isn't playing in England or for Barca/Real.

What's the story with VDV? Should I take him out my FF team?

Yes. He could still leave.

That's a fair point, but we're not really competing with City and United at the moment. He scored 17 goals and got 11 assists, he knows how we play, and for £5 million it made sense.

Anything could still happen, plus he probably won't start so many games now that we have Gylfi. I don't expect him to leave but if Hamburg somehow scrounge together the money then I suppose we would accept. Though I would hate it.

Maybe but he's the best we could afford. He was the 4th best attacking player in the league last season and I'm happy to have him. We can't pay the money for Aguero-level players.

Atlético Madrid is not exactly an underground club.

Will be 27 next summer, and will have been at Atletico for two years, so I believe he's primed for a move. He's the best striker in the world for me, if I don't think of Messi as a striker.
Could City be in the same group?
Good guys versus the bad guys?
feels more fluid and polished to me

worth dling
Cheers, I'll give it a shot.

If they were in England they'd comfortably be in the spotlight. As it is, being in Spain they're in the shadow of Barca/Madrid. It's like when everyone went 'woah Bilbao are awesome' and every paper here was spouting all the Basque policy, who Bielsa was etc because a fuckload of people I know had never even heard of Bilbao.

#SaintsFC have agreed a deal to sign Zambia forward Emmanuel Mayuka from BSC Young Boys. Full story to follow at http://www.saintsfc.co.uk.

Saints have agreed terms over the transfer of forward Emmanuel Mayuka from Swiss Super League side BSC Young Boys.
The 21-year-old will move to St Mary's for an undisclosed fee having agreed a five-year deal to keep him at the Club until the summer of 2017.

Mayuka underwent a successful medical earlier today and will be allocated the number 24 shirt once his move is complete.

The Zambia international has already been granted a work permit by the Home Office and Saints are now awaiting entry clearance for the deal to be fully ratified, which is expected to happen before the end of this week.

How Udinese would look if they did not sell in the past two seasons.
We stole two

3 seasons and Bovo could be replaced by Kjær and Hernandez/Pinilla with Cavani. Damn you Zamps.

Spanish league is more important than Premier League is most of Latin America. Maybe he rates/likes more to play in Spain than in England.
Also, he looks like a very humble guy. I doubt he's desperate to leave Atlético Madrid.

I'd have liked Dembele at United. He'd be something different in our midfield and he's a hell of a player too.

We still need a backup for Carrick. We're screwed if he gets injured.

We will be Pot 1 and Braga and Benfica will be Pot 2. We are ascending in Uefa ranking and are only 2 points behind Italy. PORTUGAL! :)

EDIT:
1. Spain - 73.239
2. England - 69.320
3. Germany - 64.043
4. Italy - 51.731
5. Portugal - 50.001
6. France - 49.083
