Anderson's run of injuries doesn't really help him. He doesn't have natural fitness and he obv. doesn't take care of himself that well anyway, being out for so long just means he puts on more and more weight.Up until this season, Rooney was undroppable. He's the main goalscorer for United and the team was built around him. He couldn't be dropped as he's our best player. You can't criticize Fergie for picking him.
Anderson isn't a regular starter either.
At the end of the day alot of the determination to stay fit has to come from the player. Some people need to put more effort in than others and Rooney and Anderson are two examples. They need to go above and beyond what some other players may have to do...and it's obvious they don't want to.
The club can't do much about that really.
