Parde' still waiting for Berbatov at the airport. A legend is born. A FUCKING LEGEND.

Well if Berbatov does end at Juve that's awesome. He deserves to be at a club at that level, competing for top honours still.

I don't really know how Juve play and how he will fit in there but Serie A should suit him and if he gets chances he is going to score goals...and give Juve fans some moments of magic too.

Also...

Wayne Rooney ‏@WayneRooney
Read the nonsense in the papers and heard what people have to say.absolute rubbish. #heartostay

Does anyone know if Henriquez has actually signed for United?

Every article I've read just mentions that he's received a work permit. But theres nothing about him actually signing a contract.

'hear'?

What a fucking tool.

Think he's just trying to give Myleene Klass some support due to her recent break up #hearsay

I think it's done. There hasn't been an official announcement yet though.

But it's definitely all but done.

Berbatov signs a 2 year deal earning 1.8m a year + bonuses.

United get 1m this year and 3.5m next.

Juve. You. Bastards.

I don't know if I should congratulate you or offer you a shoulder to cry on.

Eh, it doesn't even matter right now. We failed to sign the promised and long awaited top striker and so I'd rather have Berbatov than fucking Bendtner. Seriously, if everything that has been said about this mess is confirmed to be true, like Fiorentina paying for Berbatov's plane ticket to Italy, this one goes right into the history books. You don't understand the hate between Fiorentina and Juventus and what this means. Worth it for the jokes and Viola's rage alone.

That's fantastic, if true. Marry, you fox.

Great deal for Juve, and for whoever it was stuck a bet on at 40/1 earlier today, think it was Bungie.

Oh FFS. Rumours now that Savic may not want to go the other way as part of this Nastiman deal.

Just bang him out on loan in the championship if he doesn't and plough on signing this guy. You never know, we may have a #SavNastFuture

I don't understand why he wouldn't want to move. He'd be a starting CB in Serie A.. nothing to sneeze at and a helluva lot better than sitting on the bench or playing in reserves, etc.

Either way, I'd like us to sign this kid up but if Savic won't move, it may be difficult. They don't want to have to find a replacement in 2 days.

Everton are at Lilles new stadium tonight, expected to bid 2 mil pounds later tonight or tomorrow morning for Bryan Oviedo, doubt we will sell if we go through.

Which two? (And by the by, if you picked 5 which 5 would they be.)
.

I don't believe in lists, and it's funny how defenders, defensive midfielders and GKs get the shaft. :p

But I'll indulge you...

Vidal, Asamoah, SP7, Amauri* and Verratti Pogba.

*when in form

This all but confirms we're still in for another striker.

No, he most definitely is not.

Two Bayern Munich fans think a 23 year old has better vision than the best playmaker in world football (who doesn't play for Barcelona), fucking laughable. Seriously laughable.

A potent mix of bias and revisionism.

Alonso the best playmaker in world football?
Sahin, Schweinsteiger, Pirlo, Vidal are miles ahead of him in playmaker skills. Alonso is a DM with vision and passing skills like Javi or other Yaya Toure.

When Del Bosque played a midfield of Xavi-Alonso-Busquets the people in Spain were saying it was redundant to play both Alonso and Busquets because they both are DMs.

Maybe Alonso was playing as playmaker in Liverpool, but atm he's a DM with long passess and nothing else.

I do think Javi is better than last season Alonso.

Like how many times have you actually watched Martinez as DM? Twice?

I watch both Atlético and Athletic matches on TV.

There is so much wrong with this post that the only reply can be this.

Berba to Juve makes me so happy. It's more than I dared hoped for him.

Cheap though. I would have bet that some club somewhere would be prepared to fork out £5m for him.

I've got bad news guys, if Berba is indeed as lazy as these YouTube comments lead me to believe, then he's going to sit next to Conte and Iaquinta in the stands.

Tell me what's wrong :) apart, from being the reality and not a Liverpool fan speaking with his heart and memories. He could've been a playmaker back in the day when he played for Liverpool, I didn't watch EPL back then. But right now he's a DM with passing and vision.

A playmaker is someone like Vidal, Pirlo or Schweinsteiger. Players that move the whole team.

exactly.
I don't understand why so many liverpool fans take offense with this.
he's definitely not a good PLAYMAKER in real

Exactly, he's a very solid player. Actually I wouldn't mind having him as DM next to Schweini, but having Alonso as playmaker is like a Luiz Gustavo-Tymo midfield (ok, a bit better).

We've signed a new player, Paul Corry from University College Dublin. 21-year old Irish centre-mid.

Any of our Irish contingent know much about him? Apparently this one is a little like the Rhys McCabe signing in that we beat out quite a bit of interest from other clubs in England to sign him. If he's half as good as McCabe we'll have a player on our hands.
