Looks like TeamLiquid will be expanding their Dota 2 section: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=364618

Liquipedia is added more Dota 2 stuff over the past day too: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/dota2/index.php?title=Special:RecentChanges&limit=500&days=3
Shiiiiiet, equal opportunity marshmallow fun zone? I already use it quite a bit with regards to Starcraft II.

They should sign PotmBottom, always wondered why TL didn't try and expand to more games.
Definitely would be a positive development, would give Potm Bottom more opportunities competitively. Hope they do well regardless of whichever sponsor they court.

Also the second Americanadian team, so there's that.

It's 1.30 am here. And I find myself looking at the items available at International 2. God I want a bloody Dota hoodie.

So I drew a shitty drawing and e-mailed it to valve. Maybe they'll take the hint.

TL have an official post now on their new Dota 2 section

Fucking awesome! I absolutely love watching SC2 matches and most definitely respect it as a top notch, balanced "esport"; however, I simply can't compete in SC2, it's too stressful and requires too much micro. I think Dota offers just as much excitement and fun as SC2 from a spectator standpoint, AND it offers incredible spectator options which are only just beginning to evolve (Pennants). To top it all off, mere mortals can actually play Dota and have fun with it. You don't need to have insane micro skills to appreciate the strategies involved in a given Dota match.

TL;DR - I'm really glad Dota 2 is picking up major steam in the competitive scene.

Just had the Stumpy courier drop as my level-up reward. :DDDDD

I'm using one of the battle point boosters atm. May do that again if this luck holds out. I do like the wardog better, but Stumpy is good too.

Looks like it was made using a 3D printer.

I guess the chances of full PVC figurines was too remote.

Okay, today's Dota 2 lesson: if you're laning with a melee carry and you have a stun, let them know so that they'll actually position to take advantage of it instead of hanging back and letting the enemy pick us both off

I had something similar today, was laning as ogre magi with dp and the dp just wouldn't use her q to scare people away. Went 0-6.

Standardly turned that around and we won the match quite comfortably.

Yeah, I was Witch Doctor laning with Skeleton King against a QoP and Weaver and I took the stun so that I could set him up with some kills and he just wouldn't get in there.

Nah, you invis guys are supposed to stay right next to Lesh.

In fact, if you are a TA, you should meld as soon as a Lesh enters your vision. I'm sure he won't stand right next to you with an edict/pulse. :P (I love me some free TA kills.)

I WOULD LIKE TO CONGRATULATE APPLEJACKS HAT ON HIS VERY FIRST VERY HIGH TIER WIN

btw Applejack, I opened the int. chest i got from our game and got a shitty ogre belt. But then I deleted it and got stumpy. Thx~

I´ll let carbonite explain, but it came to the last fight and counter push, we had 1 tier 4 left, they got 1 tier 3 and both tier 4, so we have this team fight where we manage to win and we 2 push mid ASAP, creeps flodding our base... and we make it on time

Nice game for lowbies level

I kept getting owned by that spirit breaker, whenever i tried to push, he would charge and ultimate me.

So I snagged a Mythical Brewmaster flail out of of one of the International crates today. Also got a Lone Druid cloak.

And yeah, the game that G-Unit linked. It was 3 GAF plus 2 pubs. We lost the bot rax fairly early on without any real response - their T2 was still up in that lane at the time, so we had to keep pushing that lane out - and that lane even took down one of the T4 towers all by itself during one of the teamfights.

But anyway, we had pretty coordinated teamfights (as you can see by the assists column), so every time they pushed into our base, we were able to hold them back. A lot of times it was 2 for 3 or 4 for 3 or something like that, so it was hard to get a good push going, especially with the bottom rax down. We ended up catching Lycan out a few times, as well as a few team wipes, which was able to secure us the win. Pretty edgy at the end there though, as losing a teamfight, even just a key hero going down would have lost it for us, as we only had one rax at the end. The last fight happened right in mid at the river and we wiped them, but the bottom was pushing in, so I TPed back and did ring around the ancient holding off the mega creeps from the last T4 tower while the other 2 or 3 that were up just pushed hard into mid.

Kind of long-winded explanation and I'm not necessarily recalling everything in order, but the match ID is right there if anyone wants to look at the game. Pretty damn good back and forth.

Welp, good job guys! If I can make a suggestion, your team should hold more TP scrolls, especially vs a Lycan!
