That THR live blog can go fuck themselves. They're ignoring all of my questions. Tim can suck a bag of dicks.
So guys, how long do you think they've had Walt's fate next season planned?
well they've already finished writing it last year.So guys, how long do you think they've had Walt's fate next season planned?
This and Victor throat slicing are in the top. What the fuck was that. Add up that I despise throat cutting deaths because they freak me the hell out. What was the most shocking dead scene for everybody?
To me it has to be the one in Season 3 where Walt.... Heisenberg runs over the 2 drug dealers that wanted to kill Jesse. Holy fuck I didn't expect that and it left me with my jaw open.

prove itNah, they only wrote this year back then.
But, like Gorillaz said, they're probably done by now.
prove it
Newsflash: they don't.
I wasn't that impressed by the ending of the episode, but at least it looks like I might get what I want from the end of this show. Walter has become an awful human being and he deserves to get caught.
Walt's battling cancer, has a dipshit son who's dick doesn't deserve the balls, wife is a big bitch who cheats on him and is treated as a joke to practically everyone
Yeah, it showed up here back in February. We also talked about it a couple pages back.
And of course we've talked about this, but I thought it was better that he just found out by coincidence rather than by seeing Walt on a video tape or something. When you're watching a shot of Hank in his office poring over evidence, the thought of Walt being in there is in the forefront of your mind.
To that end, they set up the scene spectacularly. Our minds were so preoccupied with other things - will Holly fall in the pool? What about the test results? Are they really going to end on a sort-of happy note? And although I initially disliked how we never saw the inscription in the book in a past episode, it ultimately made the revelation more impactful due to the surprise.
I don't exactly think you were supposed to be surprised... The shot you posted above was there for a reason.I wasn't as surprised unfortunately because I noticed the shot where Walt's in the shower and it shows the book there... when I saw hank go into the bathroom I knew that was the only way he'd find out.
I shoulda kept my mouth shut too because I was watching with friends and they didnt notice the previous seen the book was in... xD

Walt's always been one step ahead of every one. I'm thinking he finds out he's in grave danger and buys Saul's option to be erased from existence, and he disappears.

The most tragic outcome, it turns out, is not that the world comes apart when you’re at the top. It’s that the soft landing you’ve engineered, after everything has been taken care of and made right, refuses to materialize. It’s that you are your own loose end.

Breaking Bads location scout is doing an AMA on reddit
Someone tell him he's an asshole for letting them make a set for the White's house.
Fucking horrible decision.
I think the real house was sold and the owners wouldn't let them film inside or something. Idk the details.
What a bunch of assholes. Sounds like Jesse's parents.
Or worse, Skyler.
My prediction: Walt will set up a lemonade stand near Kaylee's school and ask her where her grandpa is as he sells her lemonade spiked with Mike's dissolved body.
What did you tell them? "Hank's going to find a book by this poet that Gale said he liked, that Walt made Hank aware of!"I wasn't as surprised unfortunately because I noticed the shot where Walt's in the shower and it shows the book there... when I saw hank go into the bathroom I knew that was the only way he'd find out.

I agree that a lot of Walt's fortune is dumb luck, but I think most of the time he's in control albeit on the brink of chaos. But I could see the disappearing option being possible if Hank decides to confront him personally or if Walt uses the keylogger he put on Hank's computer to find some information out.Correction: Walt thinks he's one step ahead of everyone. He imagines himself as this end all, be all kingpin and mastermind. He's really very rash and prone to make poor judgmental decisions. He's just been very lucky up until this point, and has had much smarter people clean up after him.
I will say, though, he truly is a mastermind when it comes to deception. The "end times" manipulation of Jesse was incredible.

My earlier post was not asking why Heisenberg is a plausible pseudonym, as there are many. What does Heisenberg himself, the uncertainty principle, or quantum physics have to do with Breaking Bad and Walter White?
that was the point. that's why neither succeeded and both had consequences.and the Hamsterdam arc was ridiculousness all the way around. Ditto for season 5 Mcnutty.

of course they defied ordinary reality, that was the point. the people responsible for both were treated like they'd gone insane. sometimes insane things happen in real life (see: the real life omar jumping out of an even higher window.)I think his point was that they defied his suspension of disbelief.really was completely ridiculous and went on far far longer than it ever really could have in the form shown on the show. It kind of defied the show's realist take on things.Hamsterdam
yea but i think what the mod and nameless are saying is that it was hard for viewers to accept the ridiculousness of it in the first place despite weird shit happening irl.of course they defied ordinary reality, that was the point. the people responsible for both were treated like they'd gone insane. sometimes insane things happen in real life (see: the real life omar jumping out of an even higher window.)
Is he really this easy to write? My guess for the next season ep1? Walter kills Hank and has a sister threeway rolling around in piles of money.

f yeahyea season 2 was awesome.
f yeah
S2
S1
S3
S4
S5.1
i think 5.2 could be among the worst or the best
the only episode i remember disliking for any particular reason is the pilot, the score/music was so off. It's interesting that we're basically the only ones who think S1/S2 are the best. But then we completely disagree about the rest
I thought S5.1 was a return to form (outside of maybe the final episode and the Rian Johnson directed Fifty-One) after the lackluster S3 and S4.
