Stormwatch issue 0 was actually pretty good. I saw that it was getting crapped on with reviews, but I liked it. I'm going to start reading Demon Knights now, lol.

Green Lantern 0 was pretty good. I liked the Epilogue, so ready for GL #13.

Swamp Thing and Animal Man 0s were alright. Big focus on Arcane and I'm not really a fan of that. Too similar I thought.

Earth 2 0 was okay. Just okay. I can't really say too much with out spoilers.

Dial H 0 was funny, I liked how the avatar was totally out of place. Elaborating on the way powers work was done in a really cool way.

I think that's all the 0s I read this week...

I stopped reading Stormwatch when Cornell left, guess I'll give it another shot.

The best part of Earth 2 was
Terry finding the Multiverse
. The lack of Nicola Scott art was a major let down.

What issue did you stop reading at? Admittedly, Stormwatch isn't great by any means, I just feel like it has the pieces to be a great book.

Earth 2
Mr. Terrific in Earth 2 is infinitely better than the one in regular continuity. Even with that said, his story wasn't super interesting. I hope they elaborate on what he saw to go batshit on the other heroes. From the build up there had better be something truly epic, because the build up to whatever it is that's coming is getting crazy.

I stopped with Stormwatch at #4, which was right around when they announced Milligan was taking over.

So in Earth 2 am I the only one who saw
what looked like Lagoon Boy
lurking behind Diana when Sloan was talking about how he couldn't name the other wonder?

Oh shit guys, don't know if anyone has posted this yet but seems like a WW: Earth One/Year One/whatever is really coming. And the team doing it is Grant Morrison and Yanick Paquette. Gotta say i'm pretty excited.

As long as Morrison doesn't try to be confusing for confusion's sake and just crafts a good (but weird. he likes weird, and does it well) story, I'm in there. And Yanick Paquette on art? Man...yes.

Actually, #5 was pretty good, a lot of stuff happens and it sets up for where the story is now. It's 2 bucks on comixology, and if you don't like that issue then you should probably not read Stormwatch lol.

I didn't notice that, one reason is that I have no idea who that is.

Holy shit brother haven't gotten my books yet but if that is true I will come in all of my books. His genesis begins, just in time for me to write an ongoing!!!

Milligan is so hit-or-miss for me. His DC superhero stuff has been mostly miss although he's done some good things here and there. On the other hand, Shade the Changing Man and his current run on Hellblazer rank up there with some my favorite comics ever.

Ugh. Avengers now. More books I need but don't want. :(

Okay Guys, I need help. Should I read Demon Knights next or Resurrection Man? I bit on the full runs for both.

AvX #9 and #10: I lost track of why Scott even wants Hope. Wasn't it in issue 5 or so when Hope was on Utopia after the phoenix five stuff happened and she asked for the phoenix force and Scott said no? Regardless, i hate this event, it might be neat if it were 6 issues but at 12 it's just loldiculous.

I'm probably wrong, but when I was reading it that was the first thing I thought. I haven't seen it mentioned any where else online, but then again I don't frequent any other forums.

How was Phantom Stranger 0? Did anyone read it? Also, I gave X-treme X-men a shot. I really tried to like it despite me not really being crazy about Dazzler. I really just don't think it is for me.

I read it, Phantom Stranger #0 was meh. I like what it setup to but the issue is sort of boring.

I am a huge fan of X-treme X-men, even though I dislike Dazzler. Have you read the Exaulted run on Astonishing Xmen? You need to before you start X-treme.

Is Resurrection Man even any good?

It's good. Abnett & Lanning are the writers. I'm not sure I've ever read anything bad that they've written. I preferred Volume 1 though. Volume 2 seems like a reboot just for the sake of rebooting and wipes away some of the really interesting stuff they were doing with him the first time around.

I really hate Dazzler and the Xtreme cast, you guys. X-treme X-Men is not for me. Sucks that they had to get me all excited by naming it after the awesome original series and then turning into a shitty Exiles knockoff staring the sorriest excuse for an X-woman ever.

I have read that. I get whats going on and all that. I just...I don't know. Something about it just doesn't isn't cutting it for me.

I agree with Troll, it was ok, but nothing amazing. They beat you over the head with references as to who the Stranger is without explicitly giving his name. One of the bright spots for me was seeing
the creation of the Spectre
.

No doubt brah, brah doesn't know anything about being exteme. Such a waste of comic panels.

That was pretty cool. I also noticed Pandora in the beginning, but who was that other guy with his shirt off

Based on his appearance in the FCBD issue, it's the Question. However, we don't know his real name/identity yet

Green Lantern Corps #12: That was my last ordered issue of GLC for now, unless it gets amazing reviews/word of mouth. I've never really liked the Alpha Lanterns so an entire arc based around them with annoying robot logic was hard to get through.

Aquaman #12: Good issue though it feels like Aquaman is just running around saying he's going to kill Black Manta every chance he gets.

Damn, I didn't read that issue at all. Now I have to find it somewhere...

Edit: Found it on Comixology. Time to read this!

Anyone read the Uncanny X-Men preview?

Magneto: Scott, you're sounding like me...

Scott: Why does everyone keep saying that? I'm nothing like you. I'm winning!

burrrrnnn

I loved that. I don't care what anyone says. I like Cyclops so much more that he isn't afraid to talk shit.

Demon Knights! It's one of my favorite of the Nu52. Especially if you've got the full current run --read through it and enjoy Vandal Savage's awesomeness.

I dropped Res. Man after 5, I think. It was kinda shit as I didn't particularly care for the characters, plot, or art.
