You're in it.
Apple never livestreams or allows it...
They did occasionally. I remember following a keynote live on my iPod touch. Ah, good times.Apple never livestreams or allows it...
That's a buzz kill if I ever saw one.
Ya...this is really annoying. I don't have the Mac Anymore that my iPad is attached to, so this means if I want to update to ios6 I have to completely erase my iPad and attach it to a new computer...correct?
That's a buzz kill if I ever saw one.
As we said, this was already resolved in iOS 5. If you're still running iOS 4, than you should have updated a year ago.

A bit, but if it performs better than the current iTunes they can paint it rainbow colors for all I care.Anyone else afraid of a UI update for iTunes? Could end up being an 80's boombox style knowing the trend these days.

which website should I follow for this thing?
Thanks.
I guess this is probably not the right thread to keep derailing with my Mac Noobness. I do appreciate the feedback though. One of these days I'll go to best buy with a chair and just mess around with one for a bit.
Surely some low-rent stream from someone in the audience will appear in this thread once it starts.
My 3G is ready.unless it crashes

Yeah, around 2009 or something. They were kinda showing off the new servers IIRC or at least that's what everyone said.Yeah, that was years ago though right? I remember the shaky cams too but not anymore.
Wait, it was already possible to update the iPhone without plugging it into a PC? Kinda forgot... (I updated to iOS5 on day 1 and it's been so long now)

What? No. The stream is never live (back in the day it was), but a few hours after the keynote, Apple puts the whole thing up on their site. Follow the liveblogs who take pics and report verbatim the action.Last keynote there was a stream from the audience. Anyone else remember?
Has a similar link surfaced for today?
Links are in the OP, i'd recommend the Verge along with a backup just in case they experience issues at some point.which website should I follow for this thing?
That's a throwback for me. I remember a friend of mine having this and us thinking it was the absolute shit. You guys might not have had taste... but I was rockin' this sucker:

Winamp's mmd3 skin. And even the original Winamp skin was so much better than Sonique...
Still pissed about the new dock connector. Steve would have never allowed this.
I was in the same boat about 5 years ago. Picked up the entry level macbook at the time. I'm still primarily Windows based when it comes to desktops/laptops, but I learned that year that the internet's fanboy wars are even more full of BS than I had already believed. OS X is friendly to new users, yes, but scales really well. It was really eye opening to see how it was designed and the kind of stuff developed for it. Your technical side, if you are the type to dig and research, will enjoy it.
Overall I ended up being glad I have real experience with both OSs now.
Of course. I haven't connected my devices in who knows how long, and they are all up to date. Settings-> General -> Software Update

Too bad that stream won't be inside the event though![]()
Thanks for this. Helps pass the time nicely![]()
Everybody watch TwiT for the pirate streams!(That Leo Laporte will talk over)
It's possible. However, (anecdote incoming) my friend recently went from an iPhone 4 to a Lumia 900. He was on the unlimited data plan from his iPhone and was able to keep the same plan when they switched him to 4G.Also afraid AT&T killing grandfathered unlimited accounts cause of LTE![]()
People keep saying this, but I haven't seen them do pirate streams or even talk about them since they were thrown out at least. They have Andy Ihnatko skyping in after the event, that's all.

Are we starting a new thread for the event or is this the official one? It was started so early and it already has so many pages.
I'll have you know that $34.99 adapter was designed in California.Don't worry you can buy an adapter for $34.99 I'm sure.
Hah...I'll be upgrading from a Blackberry Curve...crashing is my middle name.
